Kinnikuman Perfect Origin Arc episode 2 will air on Sunday, July 21, 2024, at 11:30 pm JST. The broadcast will air on CBC and TBS (Agaru Anime) when it comes to Japanese audiences, and Netflix will stream it worldwide. It is being adapted by the studio I.G. Production.

The most recent episode served to remind people of Kinnikuman's exploits in the original manga and how now there was peace in the world, with the three factions of Chojins writing a treaty to make sure that things stay that way.

However, the Perfect Large Numbers, a more powerful version of the Perfect Chojins, showed up on Earth and quickly defeated Geronimo and the other heroes, with Terryman being the last man standing since Kinnikuman is fulfilling his royalty duties at his home planet.

This series is an adaptation of the 2011 manga that serves as a direct sequel to the original Kinnikuman series of the 70s and 80s. Therefore, this episode 0 was a good way to get newcomers up to speed with the franchise and its premise.

The beginning of the episode focused on introducing new audiences to the concept of the Chojin and how Kinnikuman and his friends, a group known as the Chojin Idols, saved the world several times. Now that Kinnikuman, also known as Suguru, was on his home planet fulfilling his duties as the new king, he chose his friend Terryman as his representative on Earth.

While the first few minutes of the episode focused on covering some major arcs within the manga, one of the main plot points was how three factions within the Chojin race signed a peace treaty to make sure there were no more conflicts. It all seemed going well until a new group of Perfect Chojin, the Perfect Large Numbers, stepped in, deciding that they didn't agree to the treaty.

These Chojin made quick work of some of the heroes present there since the likes of Robin Mask and Ramenman, two of the heavy hitters, were still recovering from previous battles. However, Terryman decided to fight as the last man standing, which was one of the most iconic moments in the episode.

There is a good chance that the Kinnikuman Perfect Origin arc episode 2 is going to display Terryman's fight with the Perfect Large Numbers and also set up the battle structure for this arc. It is also likely that Suguru is going to show in the coming episode, potentially showing how he is doing as a ruler.
