The latest episode had a somber tone, as Darkness was destined to marry Lord Aldarp, a despicable man that she hated. There were also a few humorous exchanges, but the comedy was much more subdued.

Moments before Darkness was about to tie the knot with Aldarp, Aqua and Kazuma intervened. The lattermost took Darkness' hand and resolved to kidnap a member of a royal family since he knew everything about the crusader's circumstances that led to this unfortunate union.

Konosuba season 3 episode 10 focused on Kazuma and Megumin attempting to process and deal with the fact that Darkness was getting married to Lord Aldarp. Megumin was mad because Kazuma refused to help. However, she later realized that he was frustrated and angry because he felt like there was nothing that he could do to help in this situation.

Then came Vanir, and he offered to help Kazuma out in return for the intellectual property of all the future gadgets that Kazuma would design. A deal was made, and Vanir explained the reasons for Darkness being forced to marry Lord Aldarp. It is here that fans realize that Kazuma and his team’s debts were paid for by the Dustiness family, and Darkness was forced to marry Lord Aldarp since a loan was taken from him.

Kazuma and Aqua managed to infiltrate the wedding chapel and intervene in the proceedings. The episode ended on a massive cliffhanger, with Kazuma taking Darkness by her hand and attempting to escape.
