Jujutsu Kaisen had a very controversial ending with a lot of unresolved plot points and Yuji's Domain Expansion having no name is probably one of the biggest missteps. That is because the protagonist's ultimate move was only executed once, and did not get a name, which doesn't fit with Yuji's characterization earlier in the series.
Moreover, when considering that all the remaining Domain Expansions in Jujutsu Kaisen have names, it makes the case of Yuji Itadori all the more baffling. It was also a pivotal moment since this Domain led to one of the final conversations between the protagonist and Ryomen Sukuna, which is something that makes this decision all the more bizarre.

Jujutsu Kaisen author Gege Akutami made a mistake by not giving Yuji's Domain Expansion a name
There is no denying that the vast majority of the fandom was looking forward to seeing Yuji's Domain Expansion and when the time came, author Gege Akutami made the mistake of not giving it a name. It is supposed to be the protagonist's ultimate attack, something that always generates excitement in anime, and killed a bit of momentum by not naming it, and Itadori had enough time to practice this ability before the final battle.
Moreover, when characters such as Mahito, Megumi Fushiguro, and Hiromi Higuruma, all individuals with no experience in this area, all came up with names for their Domain Expansions, it makes this decision even more baffling. Yuji Itadori told Satoru Gojo at one point that he wanted a signature move like Goku's Kamehameha and Naruto's Rasengan, so it is out of character that he wouldn't name his Domain.
This is coupled with the fact that said Domain Expansion was never properly explained, forcing Ryomen Sukuna to go through Yuji's altered memories, and making the lack of a name even more confusing. The treatment that the protagonist's strongest ability was all around quite flawed and undermined what was supposed to be one of the most exciting moments in the entire series.
Gege Akutami's poor handling of the series
The issue of Yuji's Domain Expansion is a very good example of how Jujutsu Kaisen author Gege Akutami left a lot of plot points unresolved throughout the series. Elements such as Kenjaku's past, the merger, Sukuna's backstory, and the state of Jujutsu society were all ignored or downright abandoned by the end of the story, which is a point of contention to a lot of fans.
It has been theorized that the author was dealing with sickness and suffering from the tight publishing schedule by Weekly Shonen Jump but that is mere speculation at the moment. What can only be confirmed is that the story established these plot points and the final chapters seemed to meander with new inclusions, such as the lore of Simple Domain or Takaba spending time with a Kenjaku look-alike.
It is telling that something such as Sukuna's backstory was developed during the character's final scene when the entire series didn't address it. That begs the question of why adding these nuggets of information, such as Uraume being very important for the King of Curses when the manga never truly gave them any relevance.
Final thoughts
Yuji's Domain Expansion was supposed to be one of the most exciting moments in the entirety of Jujutsu Kaisen but not even giving it a name was a disappointment. It even fails as a moment of characterization for Yuji, which adds to the poorly received ending of the series.
