The episode opens with a scene at a bar, where some people are seen gambling on a table. On the other side, Liu Xiao tries to impress a girl with his card play. Xiao's skillful handing of cards impresses the girl, who wonders whether he has superpowers.
Xiao's play grabs the attention of Xiang, a veteran gambler. He asks one of his men to invite him to their table. Xiang offers a hefty winning prize, which Liu Xiao doesn't refuse. Yet, even though he puts his chips on the stake, Xiao loses the game.
In the washroom, Xiang confronts Xiao and mentions how he knows about his brother Liu Min, and his father, Boss Liu. Xiang offers Liu another chance to win big. Interestingly, he proposes a Russian Roulette game with a wager of fifty million pounds. Xiao accepts the game and soon realizes Xiang has rigged it.
In the penultimate round, Liu points the gun at Xiang and reveals how he has been observing his movements to know about his antics. According to the episode, Xiang has been luring students in Bridon to gambling and destroying them financially.
A fight breaks out, where Xiao overpowers Xiang and points a gun at him. Liu Xiao then interrogates Xiang about Cheng Xiaoshi's father, Weimin. Meanwhile, at Qiao Ling's residence, Cheng Xiaoshi finds a photo from his father in the attic. Qiao Ling, who arrives at the scene, suspects, Xiaoshi must be hiding something from him.
Xiaoshi calls for Lu Guag, who assures Ling that it's probably nothing serious. Meawhile, Guang realizes the events from the past must have been changed slightly because Xiaoshi doesn't tell him about the picture outright. Instead, he receives a news notification from Bridon. Xiaoshi learns about Xiang's gambling racket in the country.
Later, he informs Qiao Ling and Guang that he's planning for a week's trip to Bridon. However, Ling doesn't permit him to go. Apparently, Cheng Xiaoshi's mother had promised Ling's father that Xiaoshi must never go to Bridon. The mention of his mother opens up a trauma for Xiaoshi, who leaves the scene.
Eventually, Lu Guang finds Cheng Xiaoshi near a bridge. Guang assures Xiaoshi that he will accompany him if he insists. Lu Guang's words fill Xiaoshi with hope as he begins planning for the trip. Later at night, Guang wakes up in a cold sweat from a nightmare involving the man with the red hair.
Even though some events from the original timeline have changed, Guang resolves to succeed this time. The episode ends with a scene, where the man with the red hair receives a message from the airline, confirming his flight to Bridon.
What to expect in Link Click: Bridon Arc Episode 3? (speculative)
According to the preview video from the official staff, Link Click: Bridon Arc Episode 3 is titled Them. The episode will show Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi going to Bridon. In the video, Xiaoshi is seen confronting a threat. However, Liu Xiao appears to his aid.
Besides that, Link Click: Bridon Arc Episode 3 will show Guang and Xiaoshi discovering a notebook of the latter's father, which is perhaps one of the clues he has left behind. Additionally, the episode will introduce Fei Xia and Vein.
