The episode begins with a dream sequence, where Lu Guang tries to escape from a red-haired person with a gun. Guang opens the exit door in a hallway and falls into an unknown room, where he witnesses the bloodied corpse of the man who's chasing him.
Lu Guang wakes up in a cold sweat and finds himself seated next to Cheng Xiaoshi on the flight. The flight attendant announces that they will land in Bridon in 30 minutes. Meanwhile, the episode switches to Xia Fei aka Felix, who shoots for a modelling gig.
After his shoot, he gets a call from his boss, who fills in him about a "Job." Meanwhile, Guang and Xiaoshi land at the airport and wait for a cab. Just then, a burglar snatches Cheng Xiaoshi's phone and tries to escape. However, Liu Xiao arrives at the right time to retrieve the phone from the burglar.
He introduces himself to Guang and Xiaoshi and offers a cab ride. Guang politely declines as they have an urgent business to attend to. Xiao respects their choice and hands them his card. He urges them to call him if they need help.
As Guang and Xiaoshi leave, Xiao calls the red-haired man, who has also landed in Bridon. The man feels the air in Bridon smells like rotten flesh. Meanwhile, Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi arrive at an apartment they have booked in Bridon.
After resting for a while, Guang uses his powers to find clues from the photograph Cheng Xiaoshi found in Qiao Ling's residence. Guang's visions lead him to a library, where they search for a specific book. The librarian mentions that the edition of the book went out of print a decade ago.
Apparently, Cheng Xiaoshi's father has written something in that book, which could be a clue to his whereabouts. After inspecting the book, Cheng Xiaoshi finds a code, "BAHATI." Meanwhile, the librarian of the establishment seems to know the name.
He informs Xia Fei about Lu Guang and Cheng Xiaoshi, and their findings. Xia Fei aka Felix realizes what he must do. The episode then shifts to a cafe called Bahati, where Guang and Xiaoshi have arrived. Felix also follows them there and makes acquaintance.
Guang directly tells Felix that they are looking for someone who has a deep connection to the name, Bahati. He wonders whether the boy knows something about it. Felix reveals that he used to work at Bahati. However, he still doesn't know about the name's significance. That said, he feels his manager might know about it. So, he asks them to come the next day.
During their conversation, Felix tells them how he got into the modeling gig and how he met his boss. Apparently, Felix's charms attracted many enemies in the industry who wanted him gone. Hence, one day, they tried to drown him to death. However, Felix's current boss, the red-haired man, saved him in time.
Meanwhile, some locals at the cafe are agitated over their football team's loss. When Felix celebrates the opponent team's victory, they become even more ferocious. The locals chase after Felix, Guang, and Xiaoshi. They realize that they are truly in danger.
Just then, Felix's boss, i.e., the red-haired man, arrives at the right time to save the trio. The episode ends with Lu Guang recalling to his horror how the red-haired man once pointed his gun at him in the original timeline.
