Love Is Indivisible by Twins episode 1 recap
In the previous episode, viewers learned that Jun met the twin sisters Rumi and Naori Jinguji during their childhood. They quickly became close friends, to the point where only their mother and Jun could tell them apart.
As time passed, Jun developed a stronger bond with Naori than with Rumi. They would often engage in deep discussions about the books they both enjoyed. As this happened, Rumi began to feel like an outsider, and she realized that she had loved Jun all along.
Near the end of their middle school years, Rumi finally asked Jun out as some of her friends had also started dating. She was disappointed with herself because she was not able to express that she had always loved him. She felt terrible, but to her relief, Jun understood and accepted her proposal.
Initially, she felt pride, but it was soon overcome by guilt for betraying Naori, as she was aware of Naori's feelings for Jun. However, she managed to push these feelings aside and started to enjoy her relationship with Jun.
She even tried to convince herself that Naori was to blame for not confessing her feelings to Jun. But the terrible feeling returned at some point and she abruptly ended her relationship with Jun.
The second half of the episode focused on Naori who was well-read, proud, and sensitive. She saw herself as superior to others, but her interactions with Jun kept her humble.
The reason she chose not to express her feelings was to avoid complicating matters. Outwardly she seemed normal as she kept her anguish hidden. But, she was intrigued to learn more about how Rumi and Jun spent their time together, considering how different their personalities were.
The episode ended with Naori sitting alone in her room, feeling that everything was stupid after learning Rumi had broken up with Jun. Meanwhile, Jun appeared to be still trying to make sense of the situation.
What to expect from Love Is Indivisible by Twins episode 2 (speculative)
In Love Is Indivisible by Twins episode 2, viewers will likely see if Naori chooses to act on the situation now that Rumi and Jun have broken up. It is also uncertain if Jun would be receptive to such an advance given his prior relationship with her sister.
His side of things are yet to be revealed. These are all conjectures at this point as the preview for the next episode has not yet been made available.
