In the previous episode, Rumi's friend Reira confronted her, calling her foolish for ending her relationship with Jun for her sister's sake. Rumi sacrificed to keep everyone else happy, but it made her feel miserable. Reira tried to persuade Rumi to prioritize her own happiness.
Meanwhile, Naori, Jun, and Moriwaki were engaged in a lively discussion. Rumi walked in and ordered Naori to return to her classroom, then sat down next to Jun.
After school, Jun paid a visit to Moriwaki's house. There, he discovered that Moriwaki had feelings for Naori and had even asked her out during middle school. However, Moriwaki was now trying to avoid coming between Naori and Jun, knowing that Naori also had feelings for Jun.
Jun was taken aback to learn that he was the last one to find out about this, thanks to Rumi. This revelation left him in a dilemma as he had previously been in a relationship with Rumi and still cared for her.
In the meantime, Rumi injured her wrist while playing basketball. Although it was her left hand and would not significantly impact her, she stayed holed up in her room, refusing to eat dinner. She had been training intensively to make the first team, and now she felt as if all her efforts had been in vain.
Jun visited her but he struggled to find comforting words. So, they shared a hug and nearly kissed.
The following day at school, Rumi tried to establish boundaries, insisting that they should not meet alone or get carried away by their emotions. However, Jun confessed that he could not move on despite having had feelings for Naori in the past. At the same time, Naori finds out from Moriwaki that she is Jun's first crush. This revelation brought her to tears, but she resolved to set things right.

Love Is Indivisible by Twins episode 4, has a couple of areas viewers would probably want to delve deeper into. Firstly, it is not yet clear what Rumi had to tell Jun, and secondly, it is yet unclear how Naori wishes to proceed in resolving the situation.
