In the previous episode, Naori reminded Jun that she had not accepted his proposal yet. She said that she was aware of Jun's struggles to move on from Rumi and that Rumi had ended things for Naori's sake. Naori also mentioned that she knew she was Jun's first crush.

Naori then told Jun it was up to him to decide whether to date her or return to Rumi. Later, she told Rumi everything, including how she had known that Rumi had broken up with Jun because of her. Rumi admitted that while that was true, there were other reasons as well, including her guilt over how much Jun had to go out of his way to accommodate her.

Naori was upset that Rumi never talked to her about these issues. She asked Rumi to stop feeling burdened by the guilt of being the older twin. On the other hand, Rumi pointed out how Naori was never open about how she truly felt.

This was the first time the two of them had a chance to speak freely about their feelings. Finally, Naori told Rumi that she should not give up on Jun and that the former would not hold back either.

Meanwhile, Moriwaki pointed out to Jun that Naori had given him the option to choose who he wanted to date. While Jun insisted that he had decided not to arrive at a conclusion, Moriwaki accused him of taking an escapist route to avoid making decisions.

The next day, Naori declared in front of Jun and Rumi that she would secure first place in the exams and then ask Jun out. She was determined not to be the losing heroine who just brought the main pair closer.

After school, Rumi met with Jun to discuss the situation with Naori. She also confronted him for kissing Naori so readily, given the time it had taken for him to do so with her. They then decided to meet up from time to time for a chat.

The key question now is whether Jun will be open to their advances once again, given how he had been toyed with. Unfortunately, no further details about the upcoming installment are available at this time.
