One Piece's Elbaf arc has been highly anticipated by the fandom ever since the ending of the Wano arc. Although the plot is supposed to take place in Elbaf, the land of giants, the region itself has remained one of the most mysterious despite being one of the earliest regions to be shown in the series.

Loki, one of Elbaf's prince has already been brought up numerous times in the story with his actions directly worsening the situation between the Giants and Big Mom Pirates. Given the mysterious nature and the recurring theme of arcs repeating past events of the story, many fans have come forward to mention how Elbaf might just see Luffy take up Kaido's role and instate Loki as the new ruler of Elbaf.

The One Piece arcs have shown a rather consistent pattern in their structure, with the Dressrosa and Alabasta arcs being two of the most prominent examples. The Alabasta arc had Luffy and his crew trying to stop Crocodile from conquering the country, while Dressrosa had them liberating a country that had already been conquered.

Given that one of the most recent heavily themed arcs was the Wano arc, it is almost guaranteed that the Elbaf arc will mimic it to a certain degree. The entire conflict in Wano arose from Orochi, a weak and cowardly official, taking Kaido's aid and overthrowing Kozuki Oden's rule. This led to Orochi becoming the ruler of Wano and a significant reduction in the overall quality of life for the people.

A similar event might happen in Elbaf. Although Elbaf has remained a mysterious place, one of its princes, Loki, has been revealed to have led to a sour relationship between the Big Mom Pirates and the Giants. Given Loki's silhouette and mentions, it is possible to deduce that his personality might be a stark contrast to the battle-hardened giants typical of Elbaf.

The culture and tradition of Elbaf revolve around honor and the pursuit of a glorious death in battle. The descriptions and steadfast nature of the giants suggest that these battles to the death are often used to resolve disputes or determine the winner of an argument.

Given that Loki has been depicted as much different from typical giants, it is possible he is one of the weaker heirs of Elbaf and dislikes a tradition that is slowly dwindling the giant population. While Luffy has praised the culture and honor of giants, he has also criticized the flaws in their ways.

The Elbaf arc may become a succession war, with Luffy taking Prince Loki's side to help him ascend the throne and bring change to the outdated and harmful traditions of the giants. Loki essentially fulfils the role of Orochi and Luffy being the emperor that took over a country.

Final Thoughts

One Piece chapter 1126's alleged spoilers ended with the entire Straw Hat crew disappearing, and Nami suddenly appearing in a space that is allegedly Elbaf. The locations and statuses of the Straw Hats, other than Luffy, have not been revealed.

The story may continue with Nami in the next chapter, with the rest of the crew converging in later ones. Given that an uprising is expected to be the main theme of Elbaf, the entire crew may have been split into different groups to pursue their individual growth.
