While fans were happy to see Mash have fun with his friends, the fact that he was oblivious to Margarette's attack seemed too uneasy to fans. He indeed had Rayne Ames to help him. However, with Mash's life in danger, fans might want to see him be more careful.
As for the animation of the episode, it did seem a bit off at the intense parts at the beginning of the episode. But following that, A-1 Pictures managed to pick its quality back up.
