Medalist plot summary
The sports-drama series follows the passion of two individuals who aim to become the best ice skaters in the world. Inori Yuitsuka is a middle school girl passionate about ice skating. So, Inori's mother keeps enforcing other career options on her. The people around Inori are no better as she goes to a local ice rink to practice every day where everyone mocks her for the efforts she puts into ice skating. According to them, she started too late because to pursue heights in this career, one must start ice skating at a very young age.
This is because everyone present there is too old to pursue ice skating as a career. One day, while ice skating at her usual spot, Inori meets Tsukasa Akeuraji, a professional ice skater who started his journey too late and was on the brink of quitting his journey to become an ice skater.
Witnessing a young sprout brimming with passion, Tsukasa claims to become Inori's coach and teach her everything she needs to know about ice skating. Together, these two strive to break all norms and win the Olympic Gold in ice skating through their hard work and passion
