The Sukuna vs. Sorcerers battle in Jujutsu Kaisen has been ongoing for almost 30 chapters. Although Sukuna has faced nearly every sorcerer introduced in the series, his fight against Yuji is still unresolved. Throughout the battle, the deep animosity and opposing ideals between Yuji and Sukuna have been well established.
Many fans have theorized that Yuji might die at the hands of Sukuna while taking him down, but there is also a possibility that Megumi could deal the final blow to Yuji before Sukuna ever gets the chance. Additionally, there is a slim chance that Nobara might return following the collapse of the Jujutsu Society and play a crucial role in helping rebuild it.

Jujutsu Kaisen: Megumi and Yuji might die while taking down Sukuna
In Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 263, Yuji used a binding vow to make his dismantles effective in scraping Sukuna's soul off Megumi's body. While this forced Sukuna into a more defensive position in the fight, chapter 263 ended with Sukuna being directly targeted by a Maximum Output Jacob's Ladder from Angel.
Although the actual outcome of this attack is still unknown, many fans agree that it might only damage Sukuna and not defeat him outright. Sukuna and Yuji have repeatedly been shown to have an unnatural amount of animosity between them. This is further amplified by the fact that Sukuna's philosophy of focusing solely on himself stands in stark contrast to Yuji's, where he prioritizes other people and saves them.
This, along with Yuji being the literal main character, almost guarantees that Yuji will be the one to defeat Sukuna. While that outcome is nearly certain, the process behind it is still unknown. Given that Yuji is consistently trying to scrape off Sukuna's soul, it is very possible that Megumi could somehow gain control over his body due to the weakening barrier between the souls.
This could eventually lead to Megumi condensing all of Sukuna's being into a single finger, which Yuji would then consume to contain Sukuna. Since Sukuna has already consumed all his fingers, it is possible that Yuji, towards the end of the series, will imprison Sukuna's entire being without fragments of him scattered around as fingers.
It is also possible that Yuji consuming the entirety of Sukuna's being will be followed by him sacrificing himself to eliminate Sukuna. This event could tie into the initial chapters of the manga, where the original plan was for Yuji to consume all the fingers and then be executed to eliminate Sukuna as well.

Yuji might lose control after consuming a complete Sukuna, similar to what happened in Shibuya. Megumi could be the one to deliver the finishing blow to Yuji, who will be containing Sukuna inside himself for his last moments.
This scenario is highly plausible as it would also reference Yuji's "first death," where a similar situation between him, Sukuna, and Megumi occurred. Gege had previously stated during an interview at Jump Festa 2019 that among Megumi, Yuji, Nobara, and Gojo, only one will survive or only one will die.
With Gojo's almost-confirmed death and Megumi steadily approaching death due to the damage sustained while being possessed by Sukuna, it is possible that Nobara will be revealed as the only survivor among the first-year students. She could then become an instructor and continue to nurture new jujutsu sorcerers.
Final Thoughts
Considering Gojo's almost confirmed death, Yuji's expressed desire to die if it means defeating Sukuna, and Megumi being Sukuna's current vessel, it almost guarantees that Nobara will be the only one to survive.
But it is still possible that the plot point of Yuta possessing Gojo's bodies via a copied body swap technique leading to Gojo resurrecting back into his body similar to Toji in the Shibuya Incident arc might happen.
Although this does not imply Gojo's survival it does implies that Gojo still has a bit more part to play in Sukuna's defeat. Jujutsu Kaisen chapter 264 will be released on July 28 and will be available for reading on Shueisha's MANGA Plus platform.
