Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 14 was released on September 24, 2024. The chapter yet again pointed to the multiverse of madness with the talk of whether the protagonist could have died in some universe, as one elder from the Hidden Leaf Village claimed. This was all because Mitsuki's entry was completely out of nowhere, as he considered the protagonist his enemy.

This could have proven Kashin Koji's powers inaccurate in the sense that there are infinite possibilities of anything happening, similar to how Mitsuki emerged out of nowhere. Moreover, this brought Kashin Koji's power into question yet again because, in so many possible future timelines, he didn't tell the protagonist about a timeline where he could get captured by the Hidden Leaf Village.

Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 14 saw the protagonist in a pinch after he was asked about his source of information regarding the Shinju in the interrogation room. The protagonist denied revealing his source which provoked Ibiki into physically assaulting Boruto for information.

Shikamaru noticed this while calculating the chances of Boruto's survival and he asked Ino for her assistance, but she denied it. So, he personally requested Mitsuki to complete this undercover mission of helping the protagonist escape from the interrogation room.

Mitsuki, who was adamant about killing the protagonist, controlled his anger as he entered the interrogation room and unlocked the protagonist's handcuffs, helping him escape. However, this simple event brought to light the possibilities of different timelines, due to Kashin Koji's Ten Directions shinjutsu technique, in the fandom.

The fandom also speculated that there could be a timeline where the protagonist could have died at the hands of Mitsuki because Boruto was handcuffed. One of the village leaders' dialogues also hinted at this. This could have led to the events unfolding further on, like Shikamaru calling his hunch about the protagonist being the real son of Seventh Hokage 'wrong', and so much more.

All of this could be because Kashin Koji didn't reveal anything from his Ten Directions technique to the protagonist before Boruto returned to the Hidden Leaf Village to fight the Shinju. As the fandom is already aware, Kashin Koji's Ten Directions shinjutsu technique allows him to see every possible outcome in the future regarding any change that takes place.

Kashin Koji predicted the arrival of the fifth Shinju, which was also revealed in Boruto Two Blue Vortex chapter 14, as Ryu, and also knew that the protagonist was Boruto because he foresaw the Omnipotence Act with his technique. So, he could have already witnessed a future where the protagonist was captured by the Hidden Leaf Village.

Where this does Kashin Koji's shinjutsu technique 'supposedly' wrong, it also elevates the chances of Koji being a disguised spy from the antagonists' side as he is seen purposely taking highly sensitive information from the protagonist to get him out of the way.

However, all of this could boil down to Koji's Ten Directions shinjutsu technique not being explained to its full extent yet. So, take these words as speculations and wait for official confirmation from the future chapters of Boruto Two Blue Vortex.
