Although Deku had been all alone in his fight against Tomura Shigaraki and All For One till now in the My Hero Academia manga, he finally got some much-needed backup from Shota Aizawa and his friends from Class 1-A of U.A. High. Although his friends were exhausted from fighting their own battles, seeing Deku give it his all to save the world inspired them to continue fighting.

In chapter 420 of the My Hero Academia manga, Denki Kaminari, Minoru Mineta, Mezo Shoji, Koji Koda, and Momo Yaoyorozu stepped onto the battlefield to save Deku. However, out of all of them, Momo stands the highest chance of being the key to defeating All For One, even after Deku rejoining the fight after regaining his Quirks.

My Hero Academia: How Momo Yaoyorozu will be the key to defeating All For One

Although Deku was successful in eradicating the deep hatred inside Tomura Shigaraki, his efforts ended up being in vain when All For One re-emerged and took control of Shigaraki's body. Following that, Shigaraki's consciousness was seen fading into a deep abyss.

Since Shigaraki's "death" hasn't been confirmed as of now, it is certainly a possibility that he might return at any point in the ongoing battle to take back control of his body. As such, there are only two ways the ongoing fight might end, either the Heroes will try to save Shigaraki once again, or they might deem him to be too dangerous to let live, given that he is currently possessed by All For One.

After all that Deku has been through to try and reach out to Tenko Shimura, it's unlikely that he will give up on saving him once again. As such, the story is likely heading toward the former scenario, where the Heroes try and save Shigaraki from the clutches of All For One.

In that case, Momo Yaoyorozu is an invaluable asset, who's skills could be the determining factor in the fight. Her Creation Quirk allows her to create any non-living object by transforming the molecular structure of her fat cells. In order to create something, Momo needs to be aware of the molecular structure of the object to be created.

That said, Momo needs considerable food ingestion to effectively use her Quirk. Given how she has been constantly fighting against the villains for a long time, Momo looked noticeably exhausted and not in a proper shape to be facing someone on the level of All For One.

However, she could use the last of her strength to replicate and create the same restraints that held All For One captive in Tartarus, thereby allowing Deku another shot at saving Tenko. Although her version of the restraints will likely be rudimentary, it might just be able to get the job done, since even All For One is at his limit due to the loss of Shigaraki's Decay Quirk.

For this scenario to take place, however, Momo would need to be aware of what the restraints of Tartarus look like. If her calculations are even slightly off the mark, it may not be able to restrain All For One for very long.

As such, Momo doesn't directly need to go toe-to-toe with All For One to change the tide of the battle. Her role as support could very likely be the deciding factor of the fight, as it would allow Deku and the others to reach out to Tenko Shimura one last time and defeat All For One for good.
