With Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 set to be released soon, the manga chapter's spoilers were leaked online. While the chapter spoilers introduced fans to new developments, one that stood out was the return of Code. The antagonist had been missing since he fled from the Shinju that spawned at his hideout.
With his return, fans expected him to either make a move against the Otsutsukis (Boruto and Kawaki) or the Shinju. However, unfortunately for him, he was again made the laughing stock as he was humiliated by the Shinju.
Previously, this position was filled by Gaara. He was a strong character; hence, he would be made one of the first people to fight an antagonist and lose just to show how strong the antagonist was. However, evidence suggests that Code is now trying to take over his position.

How is Code the biggest punching bag in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex?
As fans might remember, when Gaara was introduced in Naruto, he was deemed one of the strongest characters, capable of killing Shinobi who were far more experienced than him. However, when it came to the plot itself, Gaara was beaten down by Rock Lee, Sasuke Uchiha, and Naruto Uzumaki.
The same followed in Naruto Shippuden as Gaara was defeated by Deidara. This development saw his Shukaku get extracted, leading to his death. In addition, Gaara also lost the fight to Madara Uchiha and was later beaten down by Momoshiki in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations.
Similarly, Code has played a similar role in the Boruto manga ever since he became the primary antagonist. He not only lost against Boruto and Kawaki but was also beaten down by Daemon in the Boruto: Naruto Next Generations manga.
This also followed in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex as Code lost against Boruto's Rasengan Uzuhiko. Additionally, it was also revealed through a flashback that he lost his eye during his fight against Sasuke Uchiha.
Now, as per the latest developments in Boruto: Two Blue Vortex chapter 15 spoilers, Code was again humiliated by the Shinju. Just as Code was trying to spy on the sentient God Trees, new Shinju Ryu caught him using his Iron Sand. On top of that, despite Jura sparing him, Code tried attacking him and lost his right arm in the process.
With such developments, it is natural to see that Code has now become a punching bag in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga for all those characters who wish to showcase their strength in some "harmless" way. Hence, with Code taking over Gaara's plot device, one can say with certainty that the White Karma user has taken over the duties previously held by Kazekage. That said, it does not seem like Gaara wants to back down as he too experienced a defeat in the latest chapter.
