With a bittersweet ending, Mushoku Tensei season 2 concluded its run on July 1, 2024. However, the story is still far from its end, given the 26th and the final volume of the original light novel series ended recently this year or January 31st, 2024.

As there is still more to Rudeus Greyrat’s story it will undoubtedly take more than two seasons to wrap up the Isekai goodness of Rifujin no Magonote. Although Mushoku Tensei season 3 has been confirmed, there is no possible way to suppress the anticipation among the fandom from learning what comes next.

Mushoku Tensei season 2 episode 24 ends with completely adapting the 12th volume of the light novel series and for the manga audience the latest volume is still behind the anime’s latest plot developments. Follow along with the article to learn more.

As mentioned above, Mushoku Tensei season 2 ends in Volume 12 of the original light novel by Rifujin no Magonote, which entirely revolves around the Labyrinth Arc. However, the latest volume of the manga adaptation is about the Newlyweds Arc, which is two volumes behind the original source material.

Manga enthusiasts have no choice but to wait a few more months to continue from where Mushoku Tensei season 2 ended. In the light novel, fans can start reading from the 13th volume, which also begins the Young-man Period. Season 1 entirely covers the first six volumes and the second season adapts the next six volumes up to volume 12.

Although it is not confirmed, given the pattern it can be presumed that the third season will also cover the same number from Volume 13 to 18. The following events focus on some of the enthralling arcs of all time, including the Human God Arc and the Asura Kingdom Arc.

The 13th volume mostly focuses on the new phase of Rudeus’ life where he is starting to get used to fatherhood and being the husband of Sylphie and Roxy. The volume also sees Roxy and Rudeus getting married, which is also revealed at the end of the second season.

Much to fans' surprise they are in for a treat as one of the most debated characters will return from their absence. Additionally, Turning Point 4 will be the major highlight, turning up the heat and adding more excitement to the plot
