"Muzan's granddaughter"- Demon Slayer fans have found the next coldest walk in anime after Muzan's from Hashira Training Arc

After Muzan's walk in Demon Slayer was declared the coldest walk in anime, fans started looking for other walks that had the same level of anticipation and terror as the Demon King.

Fortunately enough, a walk from a fairly new anime met the expectations of the fans but in a very funny way. This walk was from the anime series My Deer Friend Nokotan which featured its protagonist entering a class while destroying the door.

As Nokotan was a high school girl, fans called her the granddaughter of the Demon King as they shared the same walk. While the majority of the fandom was interested in knowing which anime Nokotan was from, the other fandom showed their reactions to her boss-like entrance.

Demon Slayer episode 8 saw Muzan infiltrate the headquarters of the Demon Slayer Corps. He marched towards the house of Ubuyashiki and was continuously stung by the Wisteria burning there, showcasing his exceptional regenerative capacity. His march towards Ubuyashiki was animated really well, which had the fandom branding it the coldest walk in anime.

My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 1 introduced Nokotan as the new transfer student to Torako's class. Because Nokotan had ateliers, she couldn't enter through the door properly. So, she barged her way in, breaking the door.

The debris from the door hit the students sitting in the front rows, making her entry one of a kind. Not only were the students of her class impressed, but the fans were also impressed, comparing Nokotan's to Muzan's march and declaring it the next coldest walk in anime.

The majority of the fandom couldn't hold their laughter after witnessing Nokotan for the first time while many fans didn't recognize which anime Nokotan was from. My Deer Friend Nokotan is nowhere near as popular as Demon Slayer which was the reason why many were confused about it.

Some fans added to the comedy and declared her as a potential challenger for Muzan from Demon Slayer. Her walk was appreciated so much that fans even considered her the original and Muzan a fake one, stating that her walk was something Muzan wished he could do.

Final thoughts

My Deer Friend Nokotan is one of the hidden gems of the Summer Anime Season of 2024 animated by Wit Studio. The anime is mostly overlooked by the fans due to its goofy looks. In reality, it could be a close contender to one of the best comedy series like the popular series Konosuba and Nichijou. So, it is one of the anime series from this season which fans should keep their eyes on.
