My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 4: The Student Council members are introduced
The episode commenced with the introduction of the Student Council, including Neko Nekoyamada, the Vice President, Kinu Tanukikaji, the Secretary, and Chiharu Tsubameya, the Accountant. Neko had a rebellious personality and wanted to kick Torako out of the Student Council because of her connections with the Deer Club.
Kinu had an extreme personality where the slightest mistake would make her apologetic. Lastly, Chiharu had a silent personality and hardly had anything to say to Torako. However, Chiharu did show interest in Torako's Deer Club. After Torako was done with her Student Council duties, she rushed towards her club, where Nokotan was sunbathing.
My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 4: Chiharu visits the Deer Club to admire Nokotan
The next day, as Torako entered her clubroom, she saw Chiharu, the Student Council Accountant, sitting next to Nokotan. Presuming that Chiharu was interested in the club, Torako advised Nokotan to tell her the 'good things' about it.
Nokotan pulled a laptop and showed Chiharu footage from the previous episode, where Torako danced in front of a deer. Bashame and Anko joined the discussion, but Torako kicked them out as they could have made things even worse than before. Right at that moment, the deer from the previous episode again popped out of nowhere in the clubroom.
Fearing that Chiharu could be getting suspicious of the clubroom's activities, Torako asked Nokotan to cheer her up. She dumped a bunch of deer crackers on her. Surprisingly, she didn't mind this rude act and cheered up, adding to Torako's confusion.
Nokotan then gifted Chiharu a tuft of grass, which she treated as a treasure. She then bid farewell to the club, and when she returned home, it was revealed that, just like Bashame, Chiharu also admired Nokotan.
My Deer Friend Nokotan episode 4: Kinu also visits the Deer Club, leaving Neko alone at the Student Council
The next day, Torako needed to count the supplies in the storage room. Looking for help, she bumped into Kinu, the Student Council Secretary, who offered to assist her. Upon reaching the storage room, Torako said that in anime, there is a famous trope where two people always get trapped inside a storage. The moment she said this, they both got locked in.
As expected from Kinu's personality, she imagined a future where she and Torako would die and transform into ghosts. Torako remained calm and looked out through the window of the storage room to call someone. She saw Nokotan and called for help, but she was too busy singing a strange song about a lonely deer cracker.
Torako looked back into the storage room where Kinu had entered a vaulting box. She claimed that everything had happened because of her, and this was her redemption.
Torako tried calming her, but someone opened the door of the storage room. It was Nokotan who came to harvest the mushrooms that she was growing inside a vaulting box, the same one in which Kinu was trapped. Kinu was later invited into the Student Council, alongside Chiharu, where they served mushroom rice. Meanwhile, Neko was waiting for everyone at the Student Council.
