She wakes up in a cold sweat and describes the dream to Arata and Kiyoka, who assure her that nothing has happened. Kiyoka feels Miyo will learn to comprehend her dreams if she works hard.
Later, Miyo goes shopping, accompanied by Hazuki and Kiyoka. Suddenly, she confronts a chilling vision, as if someone is watching her. Miyo's trance is broken by an unknown touch behind her. She quickly turns around and notices an elderly person.
The episode then introduces Kiyoka Kudo's father, who has come to invite his son, Kiyoka, and his fiance, Miyo to their countryside residence. Additionally, Kiyoka's father, Tadakiyo, wants his son to investigate a Grotesquerie case in his neighborhood.
Although Kiyoka doesn't accept it at first, his mind changes after receiving a letter from Prince Takaihito. The Prince has appointed Kiyoka to the same case. As such, he has no other choice but to go to his countryside residence with Miyo. During the journey, a flashback scene reveals how a Demon has been sighted near the Kudo's residence.
Additionally, a suspicious person has been seen near the area. Kiyoka wants to investigate whether there's a connection between the two threads. Meanwhile, Kiyoka and Miyo's homecoming doesn't go as peacefully as they would have liked.

The duo enters a shop, where Miyo is delighted to see some fancy woodcrafts. Kiyoka urges her to buy as many as she wants. Meanwhile, he learns from the shopkeeper about the Grotesqurie sightings and how a suspicious person goes in and out of a run-down mansion on the village's outskirts.
After some time, the duo enjoys the sunset together. Miyo says she wants to get along with Kiyoka's mother, so she wants her fiance to watch over her. Later, they return home and find only one bed in their room. Miyo becomes flustered as her heart isn't ready to share the bed with Kiyoka.
The episode then switches the perspective to Prince Takaihito, who informs Arata that the Usuba family's future is bleak. A threat born from the Usuba blood looms large over the Imperial City. The episode ends with Takaihito assigning Arata on a special mission.
