For the longest time, Toshinori Yagi, aka All Might, was the Pillar of Hope for the world in My Hero Academia. Although he was originally born Quirkless, Toshinori strived to become the No. 1 Hero so that he could become a Symbol of Peace for the people and protect them from the terror of the villains.

After having the One For All Quirk passed down to him by Nana Shimura, Toshinori adopted the persona of All Might and soon went on to become the strongest hero in the entire world. He used his tremendous power to bring hope to people in times of despair and crush the villains who sought to wreak havoc on the world.

All Might's strength and indomitable will certainly make him one of the strongest anime characters in the world. That said, it's also important to remember that the anime world is filled with some of the most ridiculously overpowered characters, whom the Symbol of Peace can never match up to. With that in mind, let us look at the 10 anime protagonists who can effortlessly defeat All Might.

In a conversation about anime main characters who can effortlessly defeat All Might in a fight, Son Goku from Dragon Ball is one name that would instantly pop up in people's minds.

To this day, Goku is widely considered to be one of the strongest characters to have graced the world of anime. His growth throughout the Dragon Ball series saw him go through various forms and transformations, with each being stronger than the other.

That said, Goku doesn't even need to tap into some of his strongest forms, like the Mastered Ultra Instinct or the True Ultra Instinct, to be able to defeat All Might. Goku in his base form alone, which has evolved tremendously since the original Dragon Ball series, is much faster and stronger than All Might. As such, it's clear that the Symbol of Peace would stand no chance against Goku.

One Punch Man's Saitama is another character who is often involved in a conversation about the strongest anime characters ever created. From the very beginning of the series, Saitama was shown to be a destructive force of nature who could effortlessly defeat his enemies with a single punch.

To this day, however, no one has been able to accurately measure Saitama's full strength since it was stated that Saitama somehow managed to break his limiter, meaning that there is no actual limit to his strength. This was further proven in his fight against Garou, where Saitama was seen growing exponentially stronger with each passing second. During the fight, Saitama accomplished some ridiculous feats, like blowing away Jupiter's surface with a sneeze and casually grabbing and kicking away hyperspace gates.

As such, it's clear as day that All Might, despite being immensely powerful himself, can never hope to defeat an anomaly like Saitama.

Naruto Uzumaki's growth throughout the Naruto series has been nothing short of a spectacle to witness, as he went from a mischievous knucklehead ninja into the Hokage of the Hidden Leaf Village.

Although some may argue that All Might in his prime would be able to go toe-to-toe with Naruto to some extent, there is no actual way that the Symbol of Peace would be able to match up to some of the latter's strongest forms. If Naruto is somehow pushed to go into his Sage Mode, the difference in power between him and All Might would be too much for the latter to handle. As such, the victor of this hypothetical fight is evident.

4) Sung Jin-Woo (Solo Leveling)

Sung Jin-Woo started off the Solo Leveling series as a lowly E-Rank Hunter, who was dubbed by others as the World's Weakest Hunter. However, a fateful incident in a Double Dungeon granted Jin-Woo a second chance at life, along with an opportunity to grow limitlessly strong.

As the series progressed, so did Sung Jin-Woo, as he literally fought his way to become the Strongest Hunter of the world by defeating countless powerful Hunters and monsters. By the end of the series, Jin-Woo had claimed the title of the Shadow Monarch, which effectively made him immortal and the most powerful being in the universe. Therefore, it can be concluded that All Might at his strongest would have no hopes of defeating Sung Jin-Woo at his strongest.

5) Alucard (Hellsing)

A fight between Alucard and All Might is one that would certainly be close but would result in the ultimate defeat of the Symbol of Peace. While All Might has previously gone up against and defeated an immortal like All For One, it's unlikely that he would be able to pull off the same feat against the immortal vampire.

Although Alucard's raw physical strength, speed, and reflexes already make him a tough opponent to beat, his most defining ability is his near-invulnerability. He can regenerate from almost any injury, even complete disintegration. Therefore, even if All Might in his prime would have dealt significant damage to Alucard, there would theoretically be no possible way for the former to be able to put down the latter for good.

An all-out battle between Saiki Kusuo and All Might would undoubtedly result in a crushing defeat for the latter. Although All Might's strength and abilities are certainly impressive, they pale in comparison to Saiki's powers, which include mind control, pyrokinesis, shapeshifting, changing reality on a small scale, and even being effectively immortal due to his restoration abilities.

If it comes down to it, Saiki could simply use his mind-control abilities on All Might and convince him to accept defeat or even to fight himself, thereby rendering him helpless even without a fight. He could also teleport All Might away to space or simply turn him into stone. As such, there is no possible scenario where All Might comes out victorious against an overpowered psychic like Saiki Kusuo.

Yogiri Takatou, the protagonist of the recently released isekai anime My Instant Death Ability is So Overpowered, would be a little too much for All Might to handle in a head-on fight.

This is because, in the anime, Yogiri was said to be the literal final destination for all beings and concepts. In fact, he was capable of even killing gravity itself and other such concepts. As such, this fight would be a bit unfair in the first place, since Yogiri is capable of ending All Might without uttering a single word.

Rimuru can manipulate elements, regenerate from almost any injury, shapeshift, and even nullify attacks. They also have the unique ability to absorb anything and store it in their stomach, especially the souls of their targets, through Soul Consumption. As such, it's easy to see why All Might wouldn't have much hope of a victory against an opponent like Rimuru.

Although he may seem like a meek and naive boy at first, Shigeo Kageyama, aka Mob, isn't someone who should be taken lightly, especially in a fight. Mob is canonically the most powerful psychic in the world of Mob Psycho 100, and it was made painfully obvious, especially in the last couple of episodes of its final season, where he went berserk and almost ended the world.

If Mob's emotional suppression somehow reaches 100% and unleashes his full power on All Might, it would likely be game over for the Symbol of Peace. Even at his strongest, it's doubtful that All Might would actually be able to take on Mob in a head-on fight and emerge victorious.

Final Thoughts

Without a doubt, All Might is the perfect representation of absolute strength and the indomitable human spirit. That said, as evident from the above list, there are numerous characters in the anime world whose power dwarfs that of All Might's.

While it doesn't mean that All Might is weak by any means, it simply showcases that in the vast world of anime, there are simply too many characters whose strength may be too much for people to fathom.
