My Hero Academia: The Todoroki family following the fight with Dabi
Before the fight vs Dabi
The Todoroki Family was not a typical, normal, and happy family. Rather, it was a troubled and dysfunctional one that was the product of personal interest rather than true love. Due to his power and influence, Enji Todoroki/Endeavor arranged a Quirk Marriage with the Himura family to marry their daughter, Rei.
The aim was to conceive a child who would possess both parents' Quirks, i.e., Fire and Ice, and train them to surpass Japan's No. 1 Hero, All Might. Their marriage wasn't the greatest, but the pair made it work. They ended up having four kids - Touya, Fuyumi, Natsuo, and Shoto.
Touya inherited a much stronger Fire Quirk, but also his mother's resistance to Ice, which meant he would burn himself while using Fire. Enji decided to train Touya to surpass All Might, but immediately ceased upon discovering his son's Ice resistance. This enraged the boy and he grew obsessed with training harder.
Frustrated with the result, Enji proceeded to have three more children - Fuyumi and Natsuo, who inherited Ice and Shoto, who was the perfect mix, possessing both.
Enji's efforts to forbid Toya backfired; the boy continued training his Quirk despite suffering severe burns. He became fixated with gaining his father's attention and proving his worth.
Following a potentially dangerous incident involving Touya and baby Shoto, Enji disallowed anyone from approaching Shoto and left the kids with Rei, especially Touya. Thus began Shoto's hellish training to surpass All Might. Witnessing her son's plight, Rei attempted to intervene but only faced abuse from Enji.
Meanwhile, Touya continued to train in secret at Sekoto Peak. Consequently, his flames turned blue. Upon learning of this, Enji raged at Rei. Pent up, she finally snapped one day looking at Shoto and threw boiling water at him, after which she was admitted to a mental hospital.
Later, Touya waited for his father at Sekoto Peak to show off his growth. However, he lost control and ended up burning himself and the forest. His body couldn't be found except for a piece of his jawbone.
His death badly affected the family, especially Rei, who had a relapse and had to stay hospitalized longer. Despite this, he continued to neglect Fuyumi and Natsuo and train Shoto endlessly.
The big reveal
During the events of the Paranormal Liberation War, Dabi seemed to be an active fighter, battling Hawks and eventually joining the fight alongside Gigantomachia. It was during this time that he revealed his identity.
With Spinner tending to an unconscious Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi emerges on Gigantomachia's back. He directly addresses Endeavor and Shoto, washing the dye from his hair to reveal his identity - Toya Todoroki. His proclamation is shocking and leaves Endeavor and Shoto horrified to their very core.
Adding insult to injury, he announces that he had arranged for having the story of Endeavor's abuse of him and his family broadcasted on live television.
After the fight vs Dabi
The family suffered a major blow following the events of the Paranormal Liberation War when Touya's identity as a mass-murdering Villain was revealed. Through the broadcast, Enji's past and the Todoroki family's trauma were on public display. Each member was shaken to the core, with Enji being hit the hardest with sadness and guilt.
When his family visited him at the hospital, he greeted them with a sincere and tearful apology. But what's done was done. The Todoroki family recounted their past mistakes, especially regarding Touya and decided to take responsibility for what happened to him. Thus, the family rallied behind Enji's goal of stopping Dabi.
Later, it is revealed that All For One (AFO) had saved Touya and wanted to use him as a tool. However, Touya's obsession with his father was far too great. In fact, Touya did return home to apologize for his misdeeds. But witnessing no change, he mentally broke, believing that he was a failure to his father and embraced "death", being reborn as Dabi.
