This program played on as Deku went to visit Spinner, with the two sitting down in a room. Spinner was angry with Deku at first, but Deku then delivered Shigaraki’s message. After confirming that the message was only for him, Spinner became emotional regarding Shigaraki’s death and life.

Spinner transformed into his giant form here and grabbed Deku with his fists, discussing everything he loved about Shigaraki as people on the TV continued trashing him. Spinner even said Shigaraki was his very first friend, prompting Deku to say Shigaraki felt he needed to be a hero to him and everyone else. He asserted that Shigaraki felt the same way about Spinner likewise, while Spinner lamented not doing everything he could to save his friend.

Spinner then said he’ll write a book about Shigaraki so no one ever forgets him, asserting that Deku and the others will forget him eventually.
