The alleged My Hero Academia Chapter 428 spoilers were supposed to reveal the first interactions between the first years and Class 2A. Needless to say, the alleged spoilers did not disappoint as they not only revealed their interactions but also switched the manga's focus to Ochako Uraraka's pain.

The previous chapter saw Deku convey Shigaraki's final message to Spinner. Spinner was furious at himself for failing to rescue his friend and hero Shigaraki. Later, the manga revealed the former Shie Hassaikai boss' confrontation with Kai Chisaki. Moments later, the manga saw the first years arrive in U.A. High School.

According to the alleged My Hero Academia Chapter 428 spoilers, the upcoming chapter will be titled 'A Girl Who Loves Smiles.' The chapter picks up from where the previous chapter ended as the first years could be seen explaining when they became interested in Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki. However, Iida reprimands their actions as both second-year students were yet to recover from the war. Thus, the girls apologize to them.

Hitoshi Shinso believed that Bakugo liked attention but Sero corrected him saying that the amount was too much. As per Deku, girls always ignored Bakugo, hence he must not be used to it. Shinso found this surprising. As for Kaminari and Mineta, they were jealous.

Amongst the first-year students, a boy told Deku that he saw him fighting in the war, hence he aspired to be like him. This moment reminded Deku of Spinner as he was left confused about how to react. Ochako Uraraka was looking at all of this with a mysterious expression.

Ectoplasm was certain that students like Mineta would want the spotlight. But Aizawa wished to respect others' wishes as well, hence he said no.

My Hero Academia Chapter 428 spoilers then focused on the Class 2A students as they were sent to a reconstruction area to work with heroes Fat Gum, Best Jeanist, and Edgeshot. Backugo asked Edgeshot if he was going to stay like that forever. In response, Edgeshot told Bakugo not to worry as he even had little thread hands. With that, the hero conveyed his plan to become even better than before. This made Bakugo smile.

My Hero Academia Chapter 428 spoilers then see civilians serving lunch to the heroes as one of them tells Deku that their plantation was destroyed in the war. This causes Deku to apologize. The civilian immediately corrected that they were not blaming the hero. After watching the heroes fight, they felt motivated and wished to do something on their own.

Moments later, Cementoss' class, i.e., the first years arrived at the construction area. They wished to apologize for the mess they made earlier. Hence, they wanted to help the heroes in the clean-up. The civilian from before says it's curious to see how efforts influence other people.

Just then, Ochako ran off, saying that she was going to get more food. The manga showed Ochako eating an onigiri but her smile seemed quite fake.

The manga then revealed a flashback that saw the reporters' camera run out of battery right when all the Twice clones started vanishing. With that, the conclusion of Ochako's fight with Toga was never captured. Ochako was watching the city from that hill from Chapter 342.

Ochako knew that it was a good thing that the battle was over and the city was returning to normal. She loved watching everyone smile and be optimistic. Thus, she did not want to ruin everyone's mood but in reality, she was suppressing her pain. Ochako remembered Himiko Toga crying and smiling.
