With only two chapters left till its conclusion, Kohei Horikoshi is currently focused on wrapping up the story arcs of all My Hero Academia characters. The epilogue of the series began from chapter 424 and is scheduled to officially conclude at chapter 430, which will be released on August 5, 2024, thereby marking the end of the beloved manga.

That said, there are still several My Hero Academia characters who are yet to make an appearance in the ongoing epilogue. Given the vast size of the cast of characters, it seems probable that there will be a few characters who might end up being overlooked.

1) Inko Midoriya

Izuku Midoriya's mother, Inko Midoriya, is without a doubt one of the most crucial My Hero Academia characters. She is a kind and loving mother who supported her son in every step of the way. However, when she had first found out that Izuku was Quirkless, she had frantically apologized to him, as if it were her fault.

With her unwavering support and belief in her son, Inko helped shape Izuku into the Hero he is today. Given the immense importance she holds in his life, it would be an unfathomable thought to leave Inko Midoriya out of My Hero Academia's epilogue. As such, readers can expect to see her appear in the very last chapter of the manga, if not chapter 429.

2) Gran Torino

Gran Torino is another character who played a massive role in Izuku Midoriya, aka Deku, becoming the world's greatest Hero. He thoroughly trained Deku to control his powers, as he once did with All Might.

Although Gran Torino didn't have as many appearances in the later arcs of the series, he did make one appearance towards the end of the Final War arc, where he finally recognized Deku as a true Hero. As such, a final appearance from Gran Torino in the next couple of chapters is certainly necessary.

3) Yo Shindo

After making his debut in the Provisional Hero License Program, Yo Shindo went on to become one of the most popular characters of the series, whom fans longed to see more of in the manga.

Although Yo Shindo wasn't exactly a recurring character in the series, he did have some memorable appearances in the Dark Hero arc and the Final War arc. He was also a part of the large ensemble of heroes who arrived to help Deku in the final battle against All For One. As such, fans are eager to see him appear in the series for one last time and have a final interaction with Deku before the manga reaches its end.

4) Mirko

Mirko is one such character, who, despite not having many appearances, is one of the most beloved and hyped-up characters in the entirety of the series. Her brief fight in the Paranormal Liberation War arc cemented her as a fan-favorite character who had an equally important role in the Final War.

As such, fans are excited to see her make an appearance in the ongoing epilogue and find out if she has fully recuperated from the devastating injuries that she suffered in the war.

5) Mount Lady

6) Fat Gum

As such, one can only hope to see him make a brief appearance in the final chapter of the manga.

Mei Hatsume is a character who made quite an impression among the fans, mainly due to her interesting inventions and a unique personality. While she wasn't directly involved in the Final War much, fans are hoping to see her character's progression in the ongoing epilogue.

Seeing as to how My Hero Academia chapter 429 is shaping up to be the chapter where Deku and Uraraka finally confess their feelings to each other, it's highly likely that more or less of the aforementioned characters would make brief appearances in the very last chapter of the manga.
