After 430 chapters, My Hero Academia has finally concluded on a positive note. Kohei Horikoshi's masterpiece spanned a long and fruitful 10 years, from 2014 to 2024, creating a huge fandom that loved the series and its huge roster of characters with a deep passion.
Each character has been uniquely created and stands out when placed next to each other. It is due to their vastly different personalities and mentalities that some of them come to represent the original divisions of human nature, i.e., the Seven Deadly Sins.
Here's a look at the My Hero Academia characters who represent each of the Seven Deadly Sins.

All Might and 6 other My Hero Academia characters who ideally represent the Seven Deadly Sins
1) Sin of Wrath - Tomura Shigaraki
Kicking off this list is one of My Hero Academia's major antagonists, Tomura Shigaraki. Wrath can be defined as an incredibly intense feeling of anger or rage that ignites in an individual the urge to seek destruction or vengeance, and Shigaraki was testament to exactly that.
Suffering abuse from his father and loneliness as a child molded young Tenko Shimura into Tomura Shigaraki, a very twisted, malevolent, and maliciously warped individual, the polar opposite of protagonist Izuku Midoriya. His situation worsened when he came in contact with All For One, who manipulated him through and through.
This resulted in him becoming rageful and full of hate, falling deeper down a rabbit hole that was difficult to escape. In the end, Midoriya managed to shatter the hatred within him, but he was still the League of Villains' leader.
2) Sin of Envy - Endeavor
My Hero Academia's Enji Todoroki or Endeavor stands as a prime example of the Sin of Envy. Envy can be described as the insatiable desire that witnesses one turn bitter and resentful of another's traits. This is exactly what the Flame Hero started out as.
As long as All Might stood firm, Endeavor had to be content with taking the No. 2 Hero spot. Realizing his inability to surpass the one he saw as his rival, he carried out a series of actions that led to dire consequences. Wanting his progeny to surpass All Might, he married Rei solely for her Ice Quirk, so that their offspring would possess both parents' powers.
However, it wasn't a success in the beginning, and that further frustrated Endeavor. He began to mistreat his wife and his family, ultimately leading to the birth of the Villain Dabi and destroying his family.
3) Sin of Greed - All For One
My Hero Academia's overarching antagonist, All For One (AFO), couldn't be a better fit for the Sin of Greed. Greed is the unquenchable desire to acquire or possess more than one needs. Once Japan's most powerful villain, AFO's ultimate goal was to steal One For All (OFA) Quirk (originally possessed by his younger brother).
Having failed to do so, he mentored Shigaraki, shaping him into his successor and eventually preparing the boy to be his vessel of power in a plan to conquer the world. His thirst for conquest couldn't be satisfied, and his maliciousness led him to commit atrocious deeds and established him as one of animanga's vilest villains.
4) Sin of Sloth - Shota Aizawa
Sloth stands for the absence and disinterest in exerting oneself to do something. Who better for the Sin of Sloth than My Hero Academia's beloved teacher, Shota Aizawa. Also known as Eraser Head, Aizawa was the homeroom teacher of Class 1-A. Shota Aizawa is quite a stern and reserved man who expects big things of his students and is primarily motivated by logic.
However, he is not to take an interest in maintaining a clean-cut appearance or filter his words or opinions for others. He might come off as cold, apathetic, impatient, and willing to exert the least amount of energy in most situations.
Instead, he preferred taking naps in his sleeping bag. Put simply, he was disinterested in a lot of stuff.
5) Sin of Lust - Minoru Mineta
The Sin of Lust can be described as the uncontrolled or illicit desire or appetite for inordinate enjoyment. Only one name from My Hero Academia comes to mind when speaking of this sin: Minoru Mineta. One of the students of Class 1-A, Mineta, might be timid but is perverted to the point of infamy. His mind often wanders off to lewd thoughts, even in completely unrelated situations.
When an opportunity to peep at the girls arises, no one can be as sharp as Minoru. However, this frequently leads to painful results. The boy's interest in women is one of the driving forces for him becoming a Pro Hero, coupled with the general popularity. He is uncannily proud of those traits, openly admitting to them.
6) Sin of Gluttony - Fatgum
While not exactly representing the Sin of Gluttony, My Hero Academia's Taishiro Toyomitsu, or BMI Hero: Fat Gum, is the closest to it there is. Gluttony means overindulgence and overconsumption of food or drink. His Quirk requires him to be obese most of the time to maintain his Fat State, which makes him a defensive tank.
It allows him to make anything adhere to his obese body on contact and sink into his body fat. His fat can also store kinetic energy, which he can convert into offensive muscle at the cost of his fat, thus weakening his defense. Thus, he needs to, most of the time, eat and replenish his calories to keep him in that state until otherwise required.
7) Sin of Pride - Yuga Aoyama
To conclude this list, probably one of My Hero Academia's most shocking reveals, Yuga Aoyama, stands as a representation of the Sin of Pride. Considered the worst among the Seven Deadly Sins, Pride is the overwhelming feeling of pleasure one experiences over something they are or possess.
Initially, he comes off as vain and prideful, viewing himself as superior to the rest of his class, especially regarding his Quirk. He showcases flamboyant mannerisms, loves posing, and was an attention-seeker. He maintained a prideful smile at all times, regardless. His sentences ending with a star indicate a fancy tone, which he complemented with French words, due to his French heritage.
