My Hero Academia chapter 430 spoilers are out, and fans are excited since this is the last chapter of the epilogue. The upcoming chapter will mark the conclusion of the series, but some elements are still shrouded in mystery. One such mystery is the real identity of the protagonist’s father.

Fans were quite nervous before the release of the spoilers. They assumed the final chapter would reveal his identity due to a previous statement by the manga author Kohei Horikoshi.

The mangaka had said that he would reveal the identity of Deku’s father in the future, and with just one chapter remaining, fans were filled with anticipation. Unfortunately, the spoilers indicate no such revelation in chapter 430, so fans fear that the manga has concluded without giving any information on Deku’s father.

The spoilers show that chapter 430 begins with Deku’s narration, which was shown in the first chapter/episode of the animanga series. He also seemed to have better understood what society truly is at the tender age of 17. There were a few interactions involving Deku and his mother. All Might and Gran Torino also received screen time in the latest spoilers.

Midoriya also took the time to acknowledge his experiences over the past few years. He lived a life that he once dreamt of, and while this inner monologue continued, fans could see the embers of All For One slowly fade away. This is a clear indication that he no longer possesses the Quirk.

Additionally, it was shown that Uraraka Ochaco created a Quirk counseling program. This was considered an integral part of society, and her classmates contributed in their ways.

There are plenty of heartfelt interactions, but it completely fails to reveal the identity of Midoriya’s father. The only time he was mentioned was when Inko, Midoriya’s mother, revealed that her husband could breathe fire. Deku’s father, Hisashi Midoriya, took a job post in a different country. While there are speculations about Inko and Hisashi’s marriage, not much is revealed.

During the San Diego Comic-Con in 2018, the manga author said he would reveal the identity of Midoriya’s father. Fans held on to this statement and hoped the epilogue would finally bring them some closure.

Numerous theories have been floating around on the internet, and one speculates the possibility of All For One being Deku’s father. Breathing fire out of his mouth was well within the realm of possibility, and he could have also stolen Deku’s Quirk. However, fans will never know the truth unless Kohei Horikoshi provides more information on this through channels other than the current manga series.
