While My Hero Academia is majorly about the conflict between heroes and villains in society, the manga series also has several sub-plots. One of the primary ones is the romance plot between Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka.
This is one of the longest-running sub-plots in the anime and has yet to receive a decent development in terms of a confession. As fans might have observed, both Deku and Ochako have been shown to harbor feelings towards each other. However, the manga has yet to see them get closer to each other.
Now, with the manga only having three chapters left in its serialization, fans are preparing to riot unless manga creator Kohei Horikoshi gives them what they want.

My Hero Academia: Horikoshi may have to give Deku and Ochako the Bridgerton ending
As fans might have noticed, ever since My Hero Academia manga began its epilogue, Izuku Midoriya and Ochako Uraraka haven't been acting normally with each other.
This was evident from the first epilogue chapter, which saw Deku trying to speak to Ochako. However, Ochako didn't listen to what Midoriya had to say. Instead, she changed the subject to Deku's hair. As for Deku, his reaction at the time gave fans a gist that he knew Ochako was smiling through her pain. With that, the manga series set up a future conversation between the two characters.
Keeping that in mind, My Hero Academia fans have begun expressing how they need Deku and Ochako's romantic subplot to be finally developed into something worthwhile. The manga has spent a lot of time building up their feelings and relationships with one another. With that, the series has got fans invested in Deku and Ochako's possible relationship since the very beginning.
One My Hero Academia fan on Reddit u/TyrionLannister557 also expressed how they weren't going to accept any deviations from the romance subplot and needed the two Class 2A students to get together before the series was over.
They made it very clear that no matter the reason, either of the characters refusing to date the other would lead to criticism. This even included situations where the manga creator might possibly tailor Deku or Ochako to feel too traumatized to get into a romantic relationship. The manga had been building up to such a possible relationship for quite some time. Thus, if Kohei Horikoshi had any plans to shut it down in the end, he could have done it long ago.
The My Hero Academia fan also expressed that they wished to see Izuku Midoriya meet Ochako Uraraka on the rooftop in chapter 428. There, they hoped for Deku to help Ochako deal with her grief surrounding Himiko Toga. Right after, the fan wished for the two characters to seal off their relationship with a confession and kiss. All in all, My Hero Academia fans were prepared to riot unless manga creator Kohei Horikoshi would give Deku and Ochako the Bridgerton ending.
