My Hero Academia final chapter spoilers are making their rounds on the internet, and fans are having a bittersweet moment. While the chapter itself was quite entertaining to read, the series they have loved for years has finally ended.

Ultimately, the heroes emerged victorious, saving the world from the wrath of All For One and Shigaraki Tomura. But, the price they paid was rather heavy. Despite the loss the heroes suffered, there was a silver lining for a few of them.

Some characters were able to explore their romantic feelings for their partners, while some received closure with respect to certain aspects of their lives. There was one happy ending that stood out in the manga. While most fans anticipated Deku and Ochaco being the main focus, it was a couple that fans least expected when they read the spoilers from chapter 430.

The couple in question is Manami Aiba, also known as La Brava, and Danjuro Tobita, known as Gentle. La Brava and Gentle were former antagonists in the U.A. School Festival arc. These two were formidable characters who showed how strong and sinister they could be. However, the duo sided with the heroes in the fight against Tomura Shigaraki and the Paranormal Liberation Front.

Based on what was shown in the spoilers from the My Hero Academia final chapter, we could see the couple standing next to each other and in high spirits. The manga author also highlighted the fact that both the characters had their wedding bands on. This was a clear indication that the couple was married.

The frame also showed the duo working together, which means they’re business partners. This was heartwarming for fans since this became a canon ship. The fanbase’s luck with respect to ships in the series hasn’t been the best. Some of the main ships, like Deku and Ochaco, weren’t particularly explored, and the manga has now ended.

La Brava and Gentle were minor characters in the grand scheme of things. However, some readers are treating their happy ending as a mere consolation. Some are bitterly disappointed that Deku and Uraraka, long considered the main couple of the series by the fans, didn’t get a chance to explore a confirmed romantic relationship.

However, unlike Gentle and La Brava, who had boldly confessed their love for each other, Deku's feelings for Uraraka can be called "implied" at best. Uraraka, who admitted to having feelings for Deku, ignored them to face more serious concerns regarding her duty as a Hero and society's treatment of villains.

Gentle Criminal and La Brava's feelings for each other largely contribute to their individual and combined storylines. While Deku and Uraraka are extremely important in each other's stories, their presence and support matter to each other rather than their feelings for each other. In that regard, a confirmed ending for the former couple and an open-ended conclusion for the latter couple make sense.

Overall, the epilogue wasn’t particularly bad. However, fans have expressed certain points on how it could have been improved since there are some loose ends. With that said, netizens are quite happy with La Brava and Gentle being married, as shown in the My Hero Academia final chapter spoilers.

Some fans have also interpreted some panels as Horikoshi subtly confirming that Deku and Ochako having or starting a canon relationship. However, nothing can be said until the official scans are released.
