My Hero Academia finale revealed the fate of many characters including Deku's, which was debated by the fandom ever since he lost it. Many fans expected him to become a regular civilian and give up on the hero life, while others wanted him to use prosthetics and other technology to continue his hero career.
Although the My Hero Academia finale did reveal that Deku had received a suit that could allow him to continue his hero work, the actual functions of the suit were never disclosed. Given the fact that the Armored All Might suit served the exact same purpose for All Might, many fans started have wondering whether Deku's supposed new suit uses a similar concept or not.

My Hero Academia finale gives Deku his quirk back as a suit
Many My Hero Academia fans argued that Deku should not get his quirk back at all and should simply function on the embers until they burn out, as it would align with the initial message and theme of the story.
However, other fans mentioned that Deku's journey to becoming the actual number one hero should be fully realized in the manga. Moreover, he should somehow get his quirk back or receive a replacement quirk to compensate.
While fans debated the direction Horikoshi would eventually take, memes and discussions surrounding Deku's fate in the My Hero Academia finale, depicting him as an ordinary civilian, began to float around.
Spoilers for the My Hero Academia finale revealed Deku's actual fate and the supposed "quirk" or ability he received. The finale showed that the story had gone through two entire time skips. While Deku had become a teacher, Bakugo and Todoroki continued their hero work and became high-ranked heroes.
Whether Deku had completely used up the embers of One For All or not wasn't revealed. But the My Hero Academia finale did show that All Might had brought him a supposed "equipment" or suit to help him do hero work, claiming that Midoriya had earned it.
It was unveiled that this suit had been in the works for years overseas and was funded by the alumni of Class A, meaning Bakugo, Todoroki, Ochaco, and the others must have contributed to it collectively.
The actual specifications of the suit were not disclosed, but the double-page spread of the finale's last page made it clear that the suit was similar to Deku's original suit and had a few mechanical parts around his arms and torso.
It is possible that the suit is an improved and remodeled version of the Armored All Might suit. Although the Armored All Might suit was a surprising plot device to bring All Might back into action, it laid the foundation for Deku's new suit.
The physical enhancements and the numerous different quirks included in the Armored All Might suit became relevant in the My Hero Academia finale due to their overwhelming similarities with Deku's own moveset.
Deku's entire moveset and prowess depended on analyzing his opponent and using his numerous quirks in different combinations while being aided by the superhuman strength aspect of One For All. It is very likely that the overseas researchers slimmed down the Armored All Might suit concept and created prosthetics and technology to replicate all of Deku's quirks.
Final Thoughts
The actual specifications of Deku's suit were not depicted in the finale. But even though a few plot points ended up being forgotten, it is still possible that a spin-off or a sequel series will be announced soon. Although many fans might think that is not possible, My Hero Academia's popularity alone creates the possibility of a sequel.
