Kohei Horikoshi, a Japanese mangaka artist is the creator of My Hero Academia manga/anime series. The series and its first chapter appeared in Weekly Shonen Jump issue 32, 2014, on July 7, 2014. The manga series has a total of 41 volumes with over 400 chapters.
About Kohei Horikoshi
Kohei Horikoshi is an arts graduate from Nagoya University. Yasuki Tanaka, the creator and author of the manga series Hitomi no Catoblepas and Kagijin, once employed him as an assistant. Naruto, One Piece, Akira, Tekkonkinkreet, and Boys on the Run are among Horikoshi's favorite manga.
Horikoshi said he had grown up reading Naruto, which was one of the main inspirations for My Hero Academia. Masashi Kishimoto, the creator of Naruto, thanked Horikoshi in the pages of Weekly Shonen Jump upon the release of the My Hero Academia anime.

My Hero Academia Manga Plot
When Izuku Midoriya was four years old, he concluded that people are not born equal after being teased by peers who possess unusual abilities. Izuku was one of the few individuals with no special abilities at birth. He continued to pursue his dream of becoming a great hero, like the legendary All Might, despite this setback. He enrolls in the U.A. High School, one of the top-ranked "Hero Academies" in the nation, in an attempt to fulfill his dream of becoming the great hero he so desperately wants to be.
