This news about My Hero Academia's Final Volume has revitalized the fandom, who are thrilled and patiently anticipating to delve into their beloved series once again. Many expressed their gratitude to the mangaka, Kohei Horikoshi, on social media for providing them with almost 60 pages of additional content in the upcoming final volume of the series.

My Hero Academia's Final Volume confirmed to be 184 pages long with 60 pages of bonus content

My Hero Academia Volume 42, which is the final volume of the long-running series, was recently confirmed to have 184 pages in total. Given that the volume will consist of chapters 423-430, there would be approximately 60 pages of bonus content in addition to the aforementioned manga chapters.

For a more precise estimation, the last 8 chapters of the manga add up to about 124-126 chapters in total, which means that about 58-60 chapters will have additional content.

My Hero Academia Volume 42 was announced to be released on December 4, 2024. Currently, fans of Kohei Horikoshi's magnum opus are speculating about the extra content that will be included in the final volume. Some predicted that it would potentially consist of content like interviews with Horikoshi, new information from QnA, extra illustrations, and so on.

However, others are speculating that the extra 60 pages will include entirely new story content, which is something that a lot of fans are looking forward to. Some predicted that the extra content may feature Izuku Midoriya, aka Deku, and Ochako Uraraka finally becoming a romantic couple.

Other fan predictions include more interactions between the characters post chapter 430, chapter 423 getting a few more pages in addition, and final chapter extras, where each former student of Class A gets to share their accomplishments and the kind of heroes they became after their journey at U.A High.

Some fans also hope that Horikoshi will wrap up some unresolved plotlines that didn't get much attention in the epilogue of the series. Some of them include the origin of Quirks, the effect of Quirk Singularity on the Hero society in the future, and most importantly, the revelation of Izuku Midoriya's father, Hisashi Midoriya.

That said, fans should remember not to set their expectations unreasonably high for the final volume. The bonus content may not end up meeting everyone's expectations, and will realistically mostly consist of content like extra character illustrations and a QnA with the mangaka.
