AFO's attack severely injures Hawks, Tokoyami, and Jiro, but Jiro fights back. As AFO prepares to strike again, his stolen Quirks rebel from within, a phenomenon that has never happened before. He attributes this to the heroes' resilience.

Seizing the moment, Hawks attacks AFO's mask, causing it to crack. With Jiro's support, Tokoyami and Dark Shadow continue the assault, eventually shattering the mask. Just as Hawks is about to deliver the final blow, AFO overcomes the rebelling Quirks, expanding his power and repairing his mask.

In the closing scenes of My Hero Academia season 7 episode 10, the focus returns to Bakugo and Shigaraki’s showdown. Despite the immense power behind his attack, Bakugo skillfully manages its impact to minimize collateral damage.

However, Shigaraki remains unscathed and acknowledges Bakugo's effort before breaking his right arm to incapacitate him, declaring his lack of interest in him. As other heroes rush to Bakugo's aid, Shigaraki blows them away with a blast. Severely injured and questioning his abilities, Bakugo ponders his worth against Shigaraki.

The episode concludes with Shigaraki noting Bakugo's strong bond with Deku, predicting that Deku and One For All will inevitably arrive there as the narrative shows Deku on his way to the Coffin in the Sky.
