My Hero Academia season 7 episode 11 was released on July 20, 2024. Although the episode was not the most improvised one, it was the best-directed episode of the seventh sequel to date.

The episodes continued the fight with Shigaraki as Nejire, Tamaki, and Mirio joined the fight to draw time until Izuku arrived on the battlefield. Unfortunately, TomurAFO was too strong and Bakugo had to step in thinking that he could take down the demon lord. The episode ended with Bakugo's heart being shredded into pieces by the villain.

The episode was improvised to some extent. The first part of Nejire's origins were anime-original and some parts of the fights were also improvised. The episode respected the source material and didn't skip much from the chapters. In this article, every aspect of the manga chapters will be compared to this episode.

My Hero Academia season 7 episode 11 was titled Light Fades to Rain and adapted the remaining part of chapter 359 and chapters 360-362, until the end of volume 36. The episode commenced with Shigaraki mocking Katsuki Bakugo for just being a way to reach Izuku Miforiya. On the other hand, Mirio, Tamaki, and Nejire buckled up to buy time until Izuku arrived.

After Shigaraki threatened Bakugo's life, Aizawa requested the other heroes to protect the young bud as he aimed to become the number 1 hero in the future. Right at that moment, Nejire launched her Nejire wave but she deflected it because Shigaraki pushed Bakugo in its way. Tamaki took the chance and inserted poison into the villain's body but it was also discarded.

As the villain continued belittling the heroes, Mirio took the change and pulled Bakugo away from TomurAFO. The Mirio versus TomurAFO battle started and the hero mocked the villain for not having any friends. This awoke the sleeping Tenko inside TomurAFO as the villain's body got concerned because it still hadn't taken over some part of Tomura Shigaraki.

After collecting his senses, TomurAFO started moving towards Bakugo as Mirio tried his best to hold him. Everything until now was entirely faithful to the manga series with no improvisations, other than tweaking some scenes to make them look real.

My Hero Academia season 7 episode 11 then shifted to the origins of Nejire Hado's childhood where she was showcased as a girl interested in every little thing. She was mocked for being such a different kid after which she stopped taking interest in everything. This part was entirely anime-original as the studio came up with a new character design for her childhood self.

When she entered U.A. High, she encountered Tamaki and Mirio who cherished her interest in everything and this gave her the confidence to keep moving forward. Back on the battlefield, she tried assisting Mirio in stopping Shigaraki and also transferring her quirk energy to Tamaki who was charging his Vast Hybrid quirk attack.

The attack combined all the animals Tamaki had eaten and after it was charged, Tamaki hit TomurAFO with it. The villain tried to resist it but Mirio came out of nowhere and made him vulnerable, sending this attack's shockwaves to the outside world.

The use of colors in this part was commendable as Tamaki's Vast Hybrid was similar to All for One's attack where he combined his quirks, in the manga series. As the studio used colors for every part of the Vast Hybrid, this made the attack more vibrant.

After the shockwave from Tamaki's Vast Hybrif settled, the villain emerged and again mocked the heroes for being delusional about defeating him. Bakugo stood up and told Best Jeanist to protect everyone else. He marched forward talking to Deku about winning at all costs.

He then jumped forward and predicted every move of the villain because his mind was hyperactive at the moment. My Hero Academia season 7 episode 11 also gave an overview of Bakugo's body that was affected by his previous attack. As Bakugo jumped towards the villain for his last attack, the chapter shifted to a place where Bakugo was standing aside All Might's vestige.

Bakugo told him how he had always liked him and wanted him to sign his card. My Hero Academia season 7 episode 11 then returned to the battlefield where the rain started pouring and Bakugo was lying on the ground, with a big hole in his chest and his heart ripped into shreds.

The choice of music was perfect as the mellow melody made the scene more heart-breaking. The scene of Bakugo lying on the ground in My Hero Academia season 7 episode 11 also popped out of nowhere, creating an element of surprise and despair.
