On Thursday, June 13, a few days before the release of My Hero Academia season 7 episode 7, Studio Bones released the preview synopsis and images for the upcoming episode through its official sources. The upcoming episode, titled 'Inflation,' will be released on Saturday, June 15, 2024. The anime episode will first be aired in Japan, followed by Crunchyroll and Netflix globally.

The previous episode saw Shinso and Monoma play key roles in the plan to separate the villains. While the plan succeeded, Deku happened to be pulled away by Himiko Toga, warping him away from his planned location. With that, Bakugo and the other heroes were to fight Shigaraki Tomura until Deku could get back.

Shigaraki's new ability may be revealed in My Hero Academia season 7 episode 7

As seen in the previous episode, Neito Monoma erased Shigaraki Tomura's Decay Quirk using Shota Aizawa's Erasure Quirk. Hence, Mirko jumped into the battle to fight Shigaraki. However, Shigaraki had a new trick up his sleeve that saw him attack the heroes with a bizarre number of manifested fingers.

Given that neither Katsuki Bakugo nor the remaining heroes knew about that Quirk, the upcoming episode will likely reveal the secret behind Shigaraki's new attack. With that, fans could also learn why the Monoma's Erasure Quirk did not work on that attack.

Himiko Toga will confess her love to Deku in My Hero Academia season 7 episode 7

As seen in the episode preview, just as Deku realizes where he had gotten warped to, Himiko Toga is set to attack him with two knives. Additionally, the episode is set to see Toga confess her love for him. As fans might remember, Himiko Toga developed a crush on Izuku Midoriya the first time she saw him.

Hence, the upcoming episode could likely reveal how Izuku Midoriya will react to Himiko Toga's sudden confession. This scene will likely also reveal Ochako Uraraka's reaction, which may either be in shock or fear. Nevertheless, Deku may have to deal with his situation as soon as possible as he may have to head back to his planned location as soon as possible.

Shoto Todoroki may face Dabi in My Hero Academia season 7 episode 7

The anime's previous episode saw the heroes succeeding in separating the villains into groups and having specific heroes face off against the villains. One such group was that of Shoto Todoroki, Tenya Iida, and the Flaming Sidekickers, who were set to face Dabi. Hence, the upcoming episode will likely see Shoto fight against his older brother Toya.

Fortunately, Shoto would not have to deal with his brother alone and would have support from his friends from Class 1A and the heroes from Endeavor's Hero Agency.
