On Thursday, June 20, 2024, a few days before the release of My Hero Academia Season 7 Episode 8, Studio BONES released the preview synopsis and images for the upcoming episode through its official sources. The upcoming episode, titled 'Two Flashfires,' will be released on Saturday, June 22, 2024. The anime episode will be aired locally in Japan, followed by Crunchyroll and Netflix globally.

The anime's previous episode saw Himiko Toga attack Deku and confess her love to him. That's when Asui and Ochako took over the fight, allowing Deku to return to Shigaraki's location on his own. As for Dabi, Shoto Todoroki and the Flame Sidekickers faced off against the villain at Kamino Ward.

The end of the anime's previous episode saw Shoto Todoroki asking his older brother Toya Todoroki why he did not return home if had survived the wildfire at Sekoto Peak. Surprisingly, Dabi did not mind sharing the story. Hence, he started narrating how he survived the fire and why Dabi replaced Toya.

Therefore, considering the preview image of Toya, fans can be certain to see a flashback of Toya Todoroki right after he survived the incident at Sekoto Peak. With that, the anime will likely reveal how Toya's skin burns worsened over time and why he chose not to return to the Todoroki household.

The anime's previous episode saw Burnin, Kido, and Onima join Shoto Todoroki in confronting Dabi. Hence, there is a good chance that Endeavor's sidekicks will assist Shoto in fighting the villain.

Shoto Todoroki has been joining his fist to possibly charge an attack for quite some time. Thus, there is a good chance that the hero will need some time before he can use the same. In such a situation, the Flaming Sidekickers could fight the villain until Shoto prepares his possible ultimate move.

My Hero Academia season 7 episode 8 is set to be titled 'Two Flashfires.' This episode title could be a hint at the two Todoroki brothers possibly set to have a Flashfire clash.

Such an event could see both Dabi and Shoto Todoroki exceed their body's limitations. However, as fans might remember, Shoto's Cold side allows him to regulate his body's temperature, giving him a small advantage over his elder brother. Hence, fans will have to wait until the next episode is released to find out if Shoto's advantage allows him to overpower Dabi or not.
