One Piece chapter 1126 is set to be released on September 16, 2024, but the raw scans for the chapter have already been unveiled. Although the chapter took a break from the hype after the 'supposed' conclusion of the Egghead arc, the final page of the chapter raised the eyebrows of the majority of the fandom where Nami was present inside a strange room.

Nami's attire in this mysterious room showed that she was somewhere on Elbaf Island. With her being trapped, one of the most logical explanations for her current situation would be the possibility of a Davy Back Fight to win Nami back from the Giants. This could also be a confirmation of the Nerona Nami theory, making her one of the most important characters of the series.

One Piece: Exploring the chances of a Davy Back Fight at the start of Elbaf arc

One Piece chapter 1125 raw scans ended with a strange page of someone calling out to Nami. After she woke up, the navigator found herself in a room wearing the classic Viking attire and a sword on her back, hinting that she could be at Elbaf Island. Moreover, the room she was in looked like it was made of LEGO, resembling a royal palace.

Not only Nami, but a few other Straw Hat Pirates were also missing from the Great Eirik after drinking Absinthe, a drink that causes the feeling of dizziness. So, if this is all not a hallucination or dream from the effects of Absinthe, there are chances that this scene of Nami could be a foreshadowing for an upcoming Davy Back Fight.

The Davy Back Fight is a traditional pirate game that was introduced in the series during the Long Ring Long Land arc. The fight took place between the Foxy Pirates and Straw Hat Pirates and was initiated by the former pirate crew's captain, Foxy.

The rules of the game were simple, and so was its motive: to conscript the crew members of the opponent crew. The Straw Hat Pirates were about to lose Chopper and Robin, but they managed to win them back by winning consecutive rounds of the Davy Back Fight.

Before Nami was 'potentially' abducted, Luffy declared his future goal once again, but he added that he would go against anyone, be it someone who is against him or with him, to become the Pirate King. So, all of this indicates that the Davy Back Fight against the Elbaf Giants, led by Loki, to win back Nami would be the first act the Straw Hat Pirates have to take part in before the proper start of the Elbaf arc.

Confirming the Nerona Nami theory

Out of all the Straw Hat Pirates that went missing, it's pretty strange how only Nami was kidnapped. This would put a finger on Nami, not in a bad way, as this could confirm the navigator being Imu's daughter.

The Giants could have seen some hints regarding the relationship between Nami and Imu, due to which they only decided to kidnap her. However, as this is just a speculation, take this article with a huge grain of salt and wait for official confirmation.
