A brief recap of Natsume’s Book of Friends season 7 episode 7

The episode began with Natsume enquiring about Taki’s problems as she seemed down. She confided in Natsume and even proceeded to help her out. The rumors regarding her boyfriend were false since she was spending time with her elder brother. However, he couldn’t stay inside the house for too long because he was haunted by a Yokai.

Madara was willing to help in this case, since he was going to be rewarded with an Eclair. The Yokai itself didn’t seem too intimidating. Therefore, Madara suggested that he spend time with Taki’s elder brother until the Yokai stopped bothering him.

Later on, the elder brother revealed that he and his grandfather brought back pretty stones and painted flowers on them. He did this for his younger sister who was born on that day. The sibling duo had a wholesome interaction. Natsume was happy to see Taki be her usual self and spend time with other students in the school.

What to expect in Natsume’s Book of Friends season 7 episode 8

Based on how things are progressing, the upcoming episode might not focus on Matoba or Natori. Yokai seems to be causing them problems.

However, the episodic format will continue as the series will present another issue that will require Natsume and Madara’s intervention. It will be interesting to see what kind of Yokai causes issues for the main character to solve in Natsume’s Book of Friends season 7 episode 8.
