Negai no Astro chapter 11 review: The Hibaru Faction encounters the first Astro Hunter and Torazo takes care of him

Negai no Astro chapter 11, titled Torazo Yotsurugi, was published in Japan on Monday, July 1, 2024. In this chapter, the Hibaru Faction and Torazo come across Shio's underlings who have been carrying out his orders to demolish Astro links. This is because Shio dislikes feeling threatened and wants to stay at the top.

In the previous chapter, readers saw a lighthearted cooking competition take place between Hibaru and Terasu. During this, Torazo made an appearance and was the one who determined the next destination for the journey of the Hibaru Faction.

Torazo’s appearance prepares Hibaru for his next task in Negai no Astro chapter 11

In Negai no Astro chapter 11, Torazo and his group, the Hibaru Faction, set off on a journey to Roppongi to meet Shio. Hibaru is tasked with keeping a watch and is asked to be seated on top of Torazo's jeep. However, he dozes off and ends up falling from the vehicle.

Upon waking up, he meets a young girl named Nono, who presents him with a three-leaf clover that she transforms into using her Astro. She acquired this power while praying for her hospitalized mother's health.

Just as she was about to visit her mother in the hospital, her Astro link, a bookmark, was cut in half. This was the doing of an Astro Hunter named Senei Kariyazaki, who was working under Shio with the mission to eliminate all potentially powerful Astros. His ability allows him to extend a blade from his fingertip.

Senei then targets Hibaru, pressing his blade against Hibaru's neck and demanding his Astro link. However, Torazo and the others arrive and Senei is forced to flee.

They soon encounter him again in Negai no Astro chapter 11, along with other members of Shio's Hawk Faction who had established a checkpoint to make the Astro hunt easier. All except Terasu are prepared to confront them head-on.

Torazo steps out of the car and approaches the Hawk Faction boldly. When Senei tries to attack him with his blade, it shatters upon contact. This is due to Torazo's tough exterior for which he does not even need an Astro.

Negai no Astro chapter 11 review

Negai no Astro chapter 11 offers a deeper exploration of Torazo’s personality. While the previous installment portrayed him as a friendly brother, this chapter reveals a more intimidating aspect of his character, who is ready to fight for the right cause without hesitation.

It will be fun to see him and the Hibaru Faction go head-to-head with the numerous members of the Hawk Faction who consider them huge threats and are poised to attack.

In the previous chapter, the Hibaru Faction learned from Kinpa that Ginji had exhausted all his energy helping others with his Astro, leaving him in a skeletal shape. To help him, Hibaru and Terasu decided to hold a cooking contest. The teams were Hibaru and Kinpa against Terasu and Kuran. However, Hibaru quickly gave up, leaving Kinpa to handle all the cooking tasks.

In the end, a large amount of food was prepared, and citizens staying at the Yotsurugi Headquarters were invited to the feast. Amid the celebration, Torazo, the third Yotsurugi sibling, declared Hibaru the winner of the cooking contest, finding Terasu's dishes overly complex.

Torazo also expressed his gratitude for Hibaru's efforts in protecting the headquarters from Shio. He then pledged to punish Shio, who had been destroying the links of other Astro users to eliminate any threats to his power. Hibaru then decided to join Torazo in this mission.
