Negai no Astro chapter 2 recap

Negai no Astro chapter 2, titled Astro, begins with Hibaru Yotsurugi gaining consciousness two weeks after the meteorite incident. With Terasu by his side, he looks around and compares the town's destruction with a scene from a movie.

Hibaru meets the elderly man from the candy shop. Although he is happy to see him alive, he realizes that the poor man's shop has been destroyed. At that moment, Terasu informs Hibaru that the Yotsurugi family's Hawk faction has benefitted the most from the disaster.

The chapter reveals that the Hawk faction, helmed by Shio Yotsurugi, has taken over the Yotsurugi family headquarters, purchased all the supplies, and diverted merchandise to the black market. Their actions have deprived the civilians of the goods.

When Hibaru confronts them, they call their boss, Shio, who has also received Astro powers following the meteorite incident. He orders his faction members to eliminate Hibaru and Terasu and make it look like they died from the catastrophe.

Undoubtedly, Shio's decision shocks Terasu and Hibaru. They cannot comprehend their eldest brother ordering his men to kill them. The chapter then shows the Hawk faction's strongest members showcasing their Astro powers.

They reveal how they obtained powers after making a wish to the star. However, Hibaru doesn't back away. He also reveals his own Astro powers, with which he obliterates an opponent.

Seeing Hibaru's impressive powers, the Hawk faction leaves. The boy tells them to inform Shio not to pick on innocent civilians and settle things with him like a real man.
