On Sunday, November 24, 2024, the official staff shared the main promotional video for the 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You season 2. The short clip featured the new heroines who will appear in the sequel and previewed the sequel's opening theme song. The series is set to premiere on January 12, 2025, on Tokyo MX.
Under the production of Bibury Animation Studio, 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You season 2 is based on author Rikiro Nakamura and illustrator Yukiko Nozawa's rom-com manga series. It's a sequel to the previous installment, which ran from October 2023 to December 2023 for 12 episodes.

On Sunday, November 24, 2024, the official website and X (formerly Twitter) account for the series unveiled the main trailer for the 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You season 2. The short clip confirmed that the anime would premiere on January 12, 2025, at 10:30 pm JST on Tokyo MX. It will also air on AT-X, BS11, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and Tochigi TV at later times.
The latest promotional video showcases Rentaro Aijo's new soulmates, Kurumi Haraga (voiced by Amane Shindo), Meme Kakure (voiced by Kanon Takao), Iku Suto (voiced by Rie Takahashi), and Mimimi Utsukushisugi (Mimimi Utsukushisugi), and previews their character voices.
The trailer begins with Rentaro Aijo's soulmates from the previous installment expressing their worries about their boyfriend. Shortly after that, the PV shows Kurumi Haraga saying she has no intention of getting to know anyone other than Rentaro.
Besides her, the main trailer reveals Mimimi, Iku, and Meme's unique personalities. The trailer for the 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You season 2 also shows Rentaro Aijo (voiced by Wataru Kato) determined to make everyone happy, even if he dies.
Additionally, the new promotional video revealed that the cast members of the main heroines from both seasons will unitedly perform the sequel's opening theme, Arigato, Daisuki ni Natte Kurete (Thank You, I Love You So Much).

100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You season 2 sees a returning staff, with Hikaru Sato reprising his role as the series director at Bibury Animation Studio, Takashi Aoshima as the scriptwriter and supervisor, Shuhei Mutsuki, eba, and Shunsuke Takizawa as music composers at Lantis, and Akane Yano as the character designer.
Since the previous installment covered the manga til chapter 22, the upcoming sequel will pick up the adaptation from chapter 23 and show Rentaro Aijo's chemistry with his new soulmates.
