Based on the light novel, the Donghua follows Reiko, a girl who offers herself as a sacrifice to a 5000-year-old dragon in exchange for protecting her village from the Demon King.

While the dragon looks like a flame-breathing beast, in reality, it's a harmless, herbivorous dragon. Together, the dragon and Reiko embark on a mission to defeat the Demon King.
