On Monday, November 25, 2024, the official website and X account for A Ninja and Assassin Living Together anime shared a new promotional video. According to the short clip, the anime will premiere in April 2025. The staff also unveiled a new key visual and revealed details regarding the new cast and main staff members.

Produced by Shaft, A Ninja and Assassin Living Together anime is based on HundredBurder’s comedy manga series. ASCI Media Works’ Comic Dengeki Daioh “g” magazine has been serializing the manga since February 2021, collecting its chapters in four tankobon volumes.

The official YouTube channel for Kadokawa streamed a new promotional video on Monday, November 25, 2024, confirming that A Ninja and Assassin Living Together anime will be released in April 2025. However, the staff has not yet revealed an exact release date.

The latest promotional video features the young and naive kunoichi (female shinobi), Satoko Kusagakure, and the high school assassin, Konoha Koga, showcasing funny interactions. Fans can catch a glimpse into their exciting and dangerous daily lives.

Besides the PV, the official staff announced new cast members for the A Ninja and Assassin Living Together anime. Yui Serizawa joins the voice cast as Marin Izutsumi, while Eri Kitamura voices Kuro. Rumi Okubo lends her voice to Yuriko, an ordinary girl who happens to live with Kuro. Haruna Mikawa has also joined the comedy anime as Roboko, a mecha robot modeled after Satoko, created by Yuriko.

The anime stars Haruna Mikawa as Satoko and Kana Hanazawa as Konoha Kogane. Apart from the promotional video and cast announcements, the official staff unveiled a new key visual, depicting Satoko, Konoha, and the recently announced cast members.

Yukihiro Miyamoto directs the comedy anime at Studio SHAFT, with Fuyashi Tou supervising the series scripts. Kazuya Shiotsuki is in charge of the character designs and serves as the chief animation director. Ryonosuke Kasai is credited as the music composer. Additional staff members include Shigeru Satio and Mamoru Tanoue as music producers, Toshiki Kameyama as the sound director, Rie Matsubara as the editor, Kazui Fujita as the director of photography, and others.

Based on HundredBurder’s comedy manga, A Ninja and Assassin Living Together anime follows Satoko, a naive and young female shinob (kunoichi), and a high school assassin, Konoha Koga. One day, Konoha finds Satoko lying on the street. She discovers that people are chasing her. Thus, they decide to live together. The anime depicts Konoha and Satoko’s exhilarating daily life.
