The video posted by the entertainment company's YouTube channel was titled 'Report,' and its thumbnail started with 'Invitation.' The official announcement of this project and the video on the YouTube channel are set to be revealed on Monday, June 24, 2024, at 7:00 pm JST and 3:00 am PDT.
In the past few months, the entertainment company teased the future projects of the popular mystery Monogatari franchise through cryptic words like O and M. It also teased the announcement of this series' opening theme using the cryptic letter Y.
Reactions from the fans on this mysterious Aniplex announcement
As expected, the fandom tried to guess what this mysterious project could be. One fan prayed that this announcement be regarding the fourth sequel of the popular romcom series animated by A-1 Pictures, Kaguya-sama: Love is War.
