Anyway, I'm Falling in Love With You anime reveals first trailer, main staff, and more ahead of January 2025 premiere

On Wednesday, October 2, 2024, the official staff for the Anyway, I'm Falling in Love With You anime shared the show's first promotional video and key visual. Additionally, the anime revealed information regarding the main staff and additional cast members. The rom-com anime will premiere in January 2025.

Produced by Typhoon Graphics, the Anyway, I'm Falling in Love With You anime is an adaptation of Haruka Mitsui's eponymous rom-com manga series. Kodansha's shoujo manga magazine, Nakayoshi, has been serializing the manga since November 2020. The publishing company has released nine tankobon volumes thus far.

Anyway, I'm Falling in Love With You anime's first trailer showcases Mizuho's friendship with her four childhood friends

The official website and X handle for the Anyway, I'm Falling in Love With You anime shared the first promotional video on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. According to the short clip, the anime will be released in January 2025 on TBS and BS11 channels in Japan.

Ahead of its premiere, the show will hold an advance screening on November 17, 2024, at the United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba in Tokyo, where five main cast members will appear on stage.

The latest trailer features Mizuho Nishino's everyday life, as she walks to school together with her childhood friends—Kizuki, Shugo, Airu, and Shin. She exudes confidence, without any makeup or pretense. The short clip portrays how the unique relationship between the five childhood friends changes when Kizuki confesses his feelings to Miho.

In addition to the trailer, the official staff has unveiled the first key visual for the Anyway, I'm Falling in Love With You anime. The illustration features Mizuho Nishino and her four childhood friends—Kizuki Hazawa, Airu Izumi, Shuugo Hoshikawa, and Shin Kashiwagi—sitting on a seaside breakwater.

Besides that, the anime's staff has announced new cast members. Yuto Uemura voices Ryosuke Saito, a senior in the swimming club whom Mizuho admires. Azusa Tadokoro has also joined the voice cast as Chika Kurashiki, one of Mizuho's close friends.

The anime stars Sakura Shinfuku as Mizuho Nishino, Sion Yoshitaka as Shin Kashiwagi, Kazuki Ura as Kizuki Hazawa, Shoya Chiba as Aizur Izumi, and Satoshi Inomata as Shugo Hoshikawa.

Junichi Yamamoto directs the rom-com anime at Typhoon Graphics studios, with Yu Murai and Nagisa Nario supervising and composing the anime's scripts. Io Shiiba is in charge of the character designs, while Katsuzo Hirata and Suzuna Okuyama are credited as the sub-character designers. Keiji Inai is enlisted as the show's music composer.

Based on Haruka Mitsui's manga, the Anyway, I'm Falling in Love With You anime follows a school youth narrative, depicting the love affair between Mizuho Nishino and her four childhood friends.

Mizuho's 17th birthday ends in a nightmare, as her parents forget it, and the upperclassman she likes isn't interested in her. However, everything changes when Mizuho gets an unexpected proposal from her childhood friend, Kizuki.
