The official website and X account for Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You anime shared the second promotional video on Monday, November 25, 2025. The short clip confirmed the anime's release date of January 10, 2025, and previewed the opening theme.
Produced by Typhoon Graphics, Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You anime is based on Haruka Mitsui's rom-com manga series of the same name. Kodansha's Nakayoshi magazine has been serializing the manga since November 2020, collecting its chapters in nine tankobon volumes so far.

On Monday, November 25, 2024, the official staff streamed the second promotional video to reveal that Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You anime will be released on January 10, 2025.
According to the broadcast information, Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You anime will air its episodes every Thursday from 1:28 am JST, starting January 10, 2025, on TBS (stylized as Wednesday, 25:28 JST, January 9, 2024). The anime will also be available on BS11 every Sunday from 11:30 pm JST, starting January 12, 2025.
The rom-com anime had an advance screening on November 17, 2024, at United Cinemas Aqua City in Odaiba, Tokyo, Japan. Crunchyroll will stream the series in North America, South America, Central America, Africa, Europe, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS.
The latest promotional video begins with Mizuho Nishino, now an adult, looking back at her high school days. She recalls the moments she spent with her childhood friends. The short clip shows how Mizuho's relationship with her five childhood friends gradually changes, with Kizuki confessing his feelings of love to her.
Additionally, the second PV reveals the anime's opening theme song, Make it Count, performed by the Japanese boy band, INI. Fans can hear a preview of the song in the latest trailer.
The anime's official site also shared a comment from INI, mentioning how the opening theme song's lyrics link with Mizuho's feelings of embracing the present and not wasting a single moment. As revealed earlier, Rock band Marcy performs the ending theme, Negaigoto (Wish).

The rom-com anime stars Sakura Shinfuku as Mizuho Nishino, Kazuki Ura as Kizuki Hazawa, Satoshi Inomata as Shugo Hoshikawa, Sion Yoshitaka as Shin Kashiwagi, Yuto Uemura as Ryosuke Saito, Azusa Tadokoro as Chika Kurashiki, Kaori Nazuka as Manami Shiraishi, and Yuichiro Umehara as Togo Hoshikawa.
Junichi Yamamoto directs the series at Typhoon Graphics, with Yu Murai and Nagisa Nario supervising and writing the script. Io Shiba is credited as the character designer, with Suzuna Okuyama and Katsuzo Hirata assisting as sub-character designers. Keiji Inai is in charge of the music composition.
Based on Haruka Mitsui's manga, Anyway, I'm Falling in Love with You anime follows Mizuho Nishino, whose 17th birthday goes horribly wrong when her parents forget about it and the upperclassman she likes doesn't respond to her feelings. However, everything changes for Mizuho when her childhood friend, Kizuki, asks her out.
