On July 5, 2024, Arifureta anime's season 3 revealed its release window, October 2024, with a new preview trailer. The trailer also revealed the opening theme song artist and singer, and a preview of the story this sequel could be centered around.

The series is based on the light novel series written by Ryou Shikakome and illustrated by Takayaki. The anime adaptation of this light novel started in July 2019 and aired its second sequel in January 2022. Arifureta anime's season 3 is set to air this year in October 2024.

The preview trailer started with some RabbitMen, who resembled Shea's appearance, conversing about something. The trailer then shifted to Hajime who appeared enthusiastic. It also showcased a blonde girl being harassed by two men; this girl is the princess of the Heilig Kingdom.

The trailer then showcased some RabbitMan tribe women slaying some men and then focused on some people trying to attack Shea. Shea took care of them quickly, and it ended with Hajime attacking the person who was harassing the princess in the earlier half.

The trailer ended with the reveal of the release window for Arifureta anime's season 3, October 2024. The opening theme song was also revealed, titled Unending Wish, performed by Void_Chords and MindaRyn. Void_Chords is the solo project of Japanese musician Ryou Takahashi famous for his music in Sk8 - The Infinity and Wind Breaker.


New voice casting in Arifureta anime's season 3

The newly added voice casting includes Minoru Shiraishi voicing Baius D. Hoelscher (Sakamoto from Nichijou) and Rikiya Koyama voicing Gahard D. Hoelscher (Wolfram from My Hero Academia movie 1).

The princess showcased in the trailer will be returning as a minor character in this sequel. Her name is Liliana S. B. Heilig and is voiced by Noriko Shiibasaki (Marie from The Witch and The Beast).

As of this article's publication, no official synopsis has been unveiled regarding this sequel. But as indicated by the preview trailer, the sequel could see Hajime and his group enter Shea's hometown, where they would face the RabbitMan tribe.

The anime is an isekai series centered around Nagumo Hajime, the main protagonist, and his class as they get transported into a fantasy world where each one of them is assigned roles to save everyone. The protagonist only gains a useless transmutation ability and gets sidelined as a background fighter whenever the class enters dungeons.

During one visit, Hajime is betrayed by one of his classmates who throws him into the dungeon's depths. Waking up surrounded by magic beasts, the protagonist has no aim of giving up on his will to live and survives by feasting on these dangerous monsters. Slowly but surely, he keeps getting stronger and discovers the wonders of the dungeon, making a party of his own.
