The upcoming sequel will air a total of 16 episodes. Along with this announcement, the staff revealed the broadcast information and shared new character visuals.

Produced by Studio asread, Arifureta season 3 serves as a continuation of the previous installment, which aired 12 episodes from January 2022 to March 2022. The series is an adaptation of the author Ryo Shikakome and illustrator Takayaki's light novel series.

Arifureta season 3 confirms October 14, 2024 release date and 16-episode run

As mentioned earlier, the official staff for Arifureta season 3 announced on Sunday, August 11, 2024, that the series will be released on October 14, 2024. Moreover, the upcoming season has been slated for a 16-episode run. Along with this information, the broadcast details for the series have arrived.

Arifureta season 3 will air its episodes every Monday starting October 14, 2024, on AT-X channel at 11 pm JST. Later, the episode will be telecast on the Tokyo MX channel in Japan at 24:00 JST (effectively 12 am JST, October 15, 2024). The sequel will also be available on BS11 from 12:30 am JST, starting October 15, 2024.

Cast and staff for Arifureta season 3

The fantasy anime features a returning cast, with Toshinari Fukamachi reprising the role of Hajime Nagumo and Yuki Kuwahara as Yue. Other returning cast members include Minami Takahashi as Shea, Yumiri Hanamori as Shizuku, Noriko Shibasaki as Liliana, Saori Onishi as Kaori, and Yoko Hikasa as Tio.

Akira Iwanaga returns to direct the third installment at Asread, with Shoichi Sato supervising and writing the scripts. Notably, Studio Asread collaborated with White Fox to produce the first season.

Chika Kojima returns as the chief animation director and character designer, with Ryo Takahashi reprising his role as the music composer. Void_Chords performs the opening song, Unending Wish, with MindaRyn. No details about the ending theme song have been revealed yet.

Based on Ryo Shikakome's light novels, the narrative for Arifureta season 3 is set to follow Hajime's group heading to the next labyrinth to defeat Noint, God's apostle. As such, fans can expect the season to be action-packed, and show Hajime and his friends facing perilous challenges.
