Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime is set to premiere in January 2025, i.e., in Winter 2025, as confirmed by the anime's official staff on Monday, June 24, 2024. This announcement was made at the TV Asahi's Anime Lineup live press conference on YouTube. The official staff has also shared a PV, a new visual, and the names of the show's main cast and staff members.

Produced by studio GAINA, the Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime series serves as an adaptation of Hiromasa Okujima's BL manga of the same name. Notably, BL here stands for "Bloody Love Comedy," not the usual "Boy Love." Akita Shoten's Bessatsu Shonen Champion magazine has been serializing the manga, with seven volumes published thus far.

On Monday, June 24, 2024, TV Asahi's Anime Lineup held a live press conference, where it was revealed that the Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime will premiere in January 2025 (Winter 2025). The anime will air on the channel's new programming block, IM Animation, which airs every Saturday at 11:30 pm JST, on 24 stations nationwide.

Along with this information, the official staff for the Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime streamed a teaser promotional video. The short clip confirms the anime's January 2025 premiere and features Ranmaru Mori vigorously cleaning the Koinoyu public bathhouse, where he works.

Daisuke Namikawa stars in this vampire anime as Ranmaru Mori, the vampire, while Yusuke Kobayashi voices Rihito Tatsuno, the innocent boy. The teaser trailer previews Daisuke-san's character voice for Ranmaru Mori.

Notably, comments from both Daisuke-san and Yusuke-san are shared on the anime's official site. Ranmaru's voice actor reveals that he will try his best to strike a balance between seriousness and nonchalance while voicing the character.

Likewise, Yusuke Kobayashi comments that he loves the chaotic feel that comes from each character in the original work. As such, he would love to match his emotions and tempo with other characters.

Besides the PV, the official site and X handle for the Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime unveiled a teaser visual featuring Ranmaru standing with a cleaning brush in his hand. Interestingly, the vibrant illustration resembles the cover image of the original manga's first volume.

Based on Okujima's BL (Bloody Love) manga series, Baban Baban Ban Vampire anime centers around a 450-year-old vampire, Ranmaru Mori, who works as a part-timer at a long-established public bathhouse.

Since he's a vampire, Ranmaru seeks the blood of an 18-year-old virgin. Therefore, he watches over Rihito, a 15-year-old boy, who also happens to be the son of the bathhouse's owners. The anime will focus on a unique blend of boy love elements and comedy.
