On Thursday, December 5, 2024, a leak from Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed that Yuki Tabata's Black Clover manga is set to publish two new chapters in Shueisha's Jump GIGA Winter magazine. The two new chapters will be published on Friday, January 10, 2025.
Black Clover, written and illustrated by Yuki Tabata, first began serialization in Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in February 2015. The manga later switched its magazine to Jump GIGA and resumed serialization in December 2023. The manga has released eight chapters in the new magazine.

While Shueisha has yet to make an official announcement, on Thursday, December 5, 2024, the leaks from Weekly Shonen Jump magazine issue #2 revealed new information on the upcoming Jump GIGA Winter 2025 magazine issue.
According to the leaks, Black Clover manga will return with two new chapters on Friday, January 10, 2024, in Shueisha's Jump GIGA Winter 2025 magazine issue. This will also include a lead color page.
Except for the previous magazine issue that released three new Black Clover chapters, the manga released two chapters each in every new magazine issue. Hence, the three chapters that were released in the Jump GIGA Autumn 2024 issue were a surprise for fans as well.
However, as unveiled by the leak, the magazine will be returning to its two chapters per magazine with Jump GIGA Winter 2025 issue. Hence, fans can expect the manga to follow the same release pattern unless announced otherwise.
As for additional details, fans will have to keep an eye out for them in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine issues released before January 2025.
Meanwhile, the leak also revealed that the magazine will publish "Doku o Shiroku" by Yoshihiko Hayashi and "Hidari Jingoro" by Terasaka Kento & Sayahoshi Mikaru. In addition, Gintama and SAKAMOTO DAYS will include merchandise and Blue Box will be on the cover.
How fans reacted to the leaked news
Most fans on social media were excited by the manga's quick return as it was only November 2024 when the series' previous three chapters were released. This is rather quick as the manga was previously releasing its chapters every three to four months.
"Peak is coming back," one fan said.
"How many chapters till the manga is finished??," another fan added.
"When does it get enough chapters for a volume release?," other fan said.
As for other fans, they had concerns about the manga's chapters. While one fan was worried about how many chapters were left before the manga was finished, others were worried about the next manga volume release.
