On Monday, December 16, 2024, the official website and X account for the series announced that Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War part 3, The Conflict, will air episodes 39 and 40 as a one-hour-long finale on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11:45 pm JST on Tokyo MX and its affiliates. Additionally, the staff revealed two new cast members for the younger versions of Jugram Haschwalth and Bazz-B.
Premiered on October 5, 2024, Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War part 3 serves as the third installment of the four-part anime adaptation of the Thousand-year Blood War arc from Tite Kubo's magnum opus. The previous two installments collectively aired 26 episodes, under the production of Studio Pierrot. The ongoing installment is produced by Pierrot's subsidiary studio, Pierrot Films.
Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War part 3 set to air episodes 39 and 40 as one-hour special finale
The official staff for Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War part 3 announced on Monday, December 16, 2024, that the series will end with a special one-hour-long finale on Saturday, December 28, 2024, on Tokyo MX and its affiliated networks. The finale will be comprised of episodes 39 and 40. A synopsis and the preview cuts for the episode are yet to be released.
Ahead of the finale, the anime will air episode 38 on December 21, 2024, as per the original schedule. Anime lovers from the USA can catch Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War part 3 finale exclusively on Hulu.
On the other hand, Disney+ will stream the finale in selected global regions. Besides Hulu and Disney+, the episode can be streamed on Netflix, Ani-one Asia's YouTube channel, and other services in selected regions, like India.
Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War part 3 announces new cast for Jugram and Bazz B's younger versions
In addition to the finale's news, the official staff has revealed additional cast members for Bleach: Thousand-year Blood War part 3. According to the announcement, Marina Inoue has joined the voice cast as the younger version of Jugram Haschwalth aka Jugo. The other cast member is Chiaki Kobayashi, who voices the younger Bazz-B (Buzz).
The anime's official site has revealed character designs for the young Jugo and Buzz and shared a special PV for episode 38 titled FRIEND, which previews their character voices.
Moreover, the staff confirmed that Marina Inoue and Chiaki Kobayashi will appear at the Jump Festa 2025 Blue Stage for Bleach as special guests alongside Masakazu Morita (VA of Ichigo) and Noriaki Sugiyama (VA of Uryu Ishida).
